so we should do something like the teams who have lower rated recruiting classes than us?

Bad argument if you ask me. Just because we have finished with a better rank in recruiting in recent years doesn't mean that these other schools can't be doing something that is also good and that we could adopt and use ourselves. I won't say it puts us at a disadvantage by not doing it because I ultimately don't think its going to change anyone's decision, but it would be nice to have another event to use as an opportunity to get heralded recruits on campus.
