1. Everything, my family, good job, my health.
-now onto the satire-
2. I'm thankful that my Son's first live football game was an Irish victory (Syracuse) and that he is probably too young to remember the rest of this dumpster fire season.

3. That 2016 is almost over. I've had a great year personally and professional, but damn, I feel like the world has gone f'ing crazy.

4. I'm thankful for Brian Kelly's years of service, the undefeated season, trip to the BCS Championship, and I'll be thankful when he is removed as head coach, it's time to go.

Share what you are thankful for.

Thankful for you all and this board. You guys kept me entertained throughout a boring season. You also challenge me on my opinions which helps me think harder about them. It's not often for the internet to have a place where I can get into an argument with another poster and know that we're still cool after the fact.

I'm thankful for getting a new position at my job after the position I am currently in will be dissolved next year.

I'm thankful to have such great family, friends, acquaintances, co-workers, and anyone else I am forgetting.

I'm thankful for this message board and the entertainment it has brought me through the years.

I'm thankful that the election is over, but I will miss the dank memes it gave.

I'm thankful for Minnesota Duluth hockey, both men's and women's, as it is the only good part of my fandom this year.

I'm thankful this season is almost over.

More importantly, I'm thankful for a great family and eight grandkids who are the best.

I'm thankful for being able to spend time with my family.

I'm thankful for my first grandchild born a week ago and that she's healthy as can be!

I'm thankful for the men and women that serve this country in order for us to be free and providing us the comfort at home to enjoy days like Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.

I'm thankful that my Raiders are having a good year in order to soften the blow of watching my beloved Irish piss games away nearly every Sat.

I am thankful for my family, friends, and health.

This great country. President elections can bring out the worst in people. But at the end of the day, this is the best damn country in the world and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

The Chicago Cubs winning the World Series. That was such a historical moment in sports history.

The Notre Dame football season being almost over. What a shitty season this year has been.

2016 has been a struggle for me in many ways. One of the worst years I can remember.

But I am thankful that none of those struggles are related to my health or the health of my family and friends.

2016 has been an all-around terrible year.

I am thankful that I remain in a happy relationship with my significant other and that my friends and family are healthy.

Other than that... bring on 2017.

My life has improved dramatically over the last year and I cannot thank God enough. Heck, the pilgrimage was just icing on the cake. I'm looking forward to 2017.

All of the cheezy things...family, friends, my students, etc. Especially our healthy 15-month old daughter. She's just an enormous ray of sunshine.

Also, the Cubs.

Beyond that, 2016 can go away.

I'm so blessed in many ways but this has been the worst year in my adult life, numerous deaths in the family... Major stresses and challenges... And even the simple joys like sports has been all time poor for many of my teams,... Hoping for better things in 17.

With that said I'm just happy my wife, kids and myself are all healthy... Can't really complain I guess.

Consider yourself lucky, my daughter was born in 2016, so I have to look back fondly on this ridiculous year.

I'm thankful for my family, my dogs, being able to afford to pursue my musical desires and to feed my creative side.

It's been good.

Thank goodness this season ends swiftly...and I'll be more thankful when Kelly moves along.

Thankful for Trump, the NCAA, Ally Lopshire, Brian Kelly, Brian Van Gorder, political correctness, the brilliant Notre Dame administration, and Colin Kaepernick making it cool to shit on the National Anthem while praising Fidel fucking Castro.

This year can get fucked.

In all seriousness, I'm thankful for my job, my health, my wife, my family, and that I don't live in some place like Aleppo.
