I legitimately think if Al Golden didn’t leave we could have won the title this year. CJ is ahead of where I expected, and the offense is very very complete because of that. The defense has the talent to at least replicate what they did last year.

Just depressing stuff. We’re 4 points from being ranked #1 in the country tomorrow.

I mean, OSU replaced Knowles and hasn't missed a beat. Anyone competent would do.

I think it’s tough to tell just how bad the edge rushers are bc both A&M and Miami were supposed to be elite OLs this year. Regardless, they’ve disappointed.
Traore will flash and I think to myself, here we go. And then he disappears. Looks the part just not doing much with that so far.

I dont know if we have the horses on the defensive line. But we would be 2-0

Trying to remind myself these are just kids and its a silly game as I check out my Whoop and my stress monitor was higher during the game than during my workout today.

Time to take a step back.

The targeting and the missed holding were both really bad. Personally, I have a really hard time blaming the refs because of how clear it is to me that we could've won that game by 3+ TDs with a remotely competent DC.
Agreed, I refuse to engage in blaming the refs or TB. Blaming anyone other than Ash and Freeman is incorrect imo.

Looking at this team after last year I didnt anticipate a title or anything but starting this way sucks

I didn't anticipate a title because I thought Carr would be too green. Instead he's dropping dimes into the soft spots in zone coverages and yelling at our offensive linemen before a critical 4th down about "winning the game right here" and looking like a veteran.

Except now the defense with 8/9 returning starters from a top 5 unit is playing like Weis is back on the sidelines.

There was also a hold on Dawson on one of the TD’s in the first half. He would have easily dropped the rb behind the L.O.S. Pretty sure it was 3rd or 4th down. Refs spotted them 14 points.

I’m being totally serious here.

My son (5) has gotten super into sports the last 3-4 months. I let him stay up the whole game. Obviously he was crying at the end. Yeah, I was pissed. I still am. But, what I told him is what I believe:

1) If you didn’t have a hand in the outcome you don’t get to cry about it.
2) Games like that with that emotion are why football is the greatest sport in the world.

I actually told him (2) before the A&M TD pass…but I still believe it.

How did you explain ripping the TV off the wall? #2?

1. So we can all agree now that Chris Ash was an awful hire and has tanked the season.
Of course not. I'm not going to be leading any Ash fan club soon, but I've never called anybody an awful hire after two games, and nobody has tanked the season.

Refrained from posting week 1 cuz…week 1. BUT…it’s week 3

Riley Leonard kept Denbrock’s (aka Brian Kelly’s offensive philosophy) worst tendencies at bay. Saved him from himself. Forever grateful to Riley for that.
All the hype needs to be earned. And this year Jadarian Price should be getting the ball a lot more.
It is not Chris Ash’s fault he has no defensive tackles but it is his fault he cannot coach around a position of weakness.
It is his fault he can generate no pressure.
It is his fault the tackling is butter soft.
It is his fault everyone on his side of the ball, Adon, Bowen, Young, Traore, Sneed, Gray, including the D tackles have taken a step backwards.
That is malpractice. And these kids should not have to sacrifice a year of eligibility for this. MFMF needs to make the hard call. Enough of Ash.

Don’t get me wrong, I want to win every game by 60 points and thought we’d roll our first two games. I just don’t let it affect my life.
Especially with all of the crazy things that’s happened the past week.
My daughter is a skinny little blonde Ukrainian girl that looks a lot like the one in that train. That shook me.

I love Jesus, my wife, and my children.
That’s enough for me.
I bet you let it all out just off the green with your putter wrapped around a tree.

I'm not defending him, because he has been rouuuuuugh, but it's also beyond comical to me how many times he's being asked to cover the other team's explosive, #1 WR with little-to-no help out of the slot. Like what are they expecting to happen?
Which to take back to my original point. What were Ash, Freeman and Mickens watching all Spring and Fall to make them think this is the right decision. And he’s just so glaringly out of position on these plays.

He needs to be held accountable as much as his shitty coordinators are. Freeman needs to be on the hot seat and our offense and defensive coordinators need fired by Monday. If we don’t make the playoffs next year freeeman needs shown the door too. This is a Charlie Weis team so far with the lack of development.

Cry more Sean you basement dwelling bitch.
So you enjoying the show? You liking what we saw?

4 hours of absolute garbage.

I hate calling out people, but it is what it is. They played and coached like shit, and it cost the team a playoff bid most likely.
