I usually dont agree with Merrill Hoge all that much, but he basically said the same thing and I thought he was spot on.

Everyone thought it was a circus in DEN with Tebow-Time, just wait till that happens in NY. Sanchez' days are numbered. Sanchez, is already shaky at best, and now the fan base is eventually to turn on him after a few picks.....and not just any fanbase, the NY fan base.

Yea...maybe I underestimate Sanchez...but he seemed to thrive in the NY environment when he was the new fresh face...but what happens when you hit a rough spot...he doesn't appear to respond like Eli. Now add the Tebo Mania...Sanchez would do well to start talks with Poodle now...

John Elway is a great VP. He has unwound everything that McDaniels ruined in the Broncos organization in one year. Think about it, in one season he has won a playoff game and pulled off the biggest free agent pickup in history.

The Jets handled this terribly as well.

I totally agree about Elway...he engineered a bloodless coup on Tebow-Time and the DEN fans love him for it (for getting manning). Elway and (Bolen) saw an opening and pounced on it. I also like how they made him that 'offer he couldnt refuse' (apparently at the first meeting they had with him) ...they defintely had a plan, and went out and made it happen. For me, all credit to goes Elway (and Bolen for having the stones to sign off on it)

We'll see-- it could be great. Probably best, though, to wait for the Broncos to actually win something on the field before y'all finish polishing Elway's knob.
