I may be biased, but this is one of the cooler reveals imo. Don't necessarily love the color flourish on the sides, but it fits with Fiesta and the stripe down the middle is very nice

I saw a really good pic of the helmet yesterday. The road runner on the side is beautiful.

That Impala is pretty sweet, too

That '64 doesn't have a stripe on it, but that's not a stock color either.

At the USC game last year i got a kick out of the musical selections and the DJ and all that jazz. It was pretty rough.

Did the DJ play more than 1 song? Because that's all the USC band knows how to play.

First down? Fight On.
Turnover? Fight On.
Completed Pass? Fight On.
Timeout called? Fight On.
QB picks his nose? Fight On.

I've very much enjoyed getting caught up on the posts over the past 24 or so hours. Some good ideas. Some that are perhaps not so good. However, the demographics of the posters on an internet message board may not be the most qualified to determine how to improve the hype factor :ROFLMAO:

Overall, I think the most important and valuable input to improve the atmosphere would come from the students (and players to a lesser extent).

If the youths are hyped the rest of the stadium should follow.
That's why the traditional entrance started with the freshman chanting here come the Irish, low and slow. It then spread across the student section and around the stadium.

A fraud? True, but our disdain for USC is only surpassed by our disdain for scUM.

The only time I want to hear the Six Flags theme is when the opponent loses a fumble or throws an interception.

That’s when they should play Fiesta from the Pogues. It has a Six Flags feel to it.

Saw UCF now getting sponsorship money from Disney for the back of the helmet. This could get interesting for my Knights of they start getting Disney money.

Modern music is mostly shit. Half or two thirds of the stadium won't even know what the hell it is, only the student section and maybe 1/4 of the rest will have any idea what is playing. Everybody knows songs like Crazy Train though cause it's stood the test of time. The modern garbage will be remembered among the current generation but not by people after like Classic Rock has been.

I'm watching the Indiana game yesterday, and during the 3rd quarter they start playing Mellancamp's Hurt So Good and of course John is there because he's a superfan. They're panning the camera through the fans, most of which is the student section because they bring energy, and they're all singing along despite the fact the song is as old as their parents or older.

I couldn't find the clip from yesterday, but same deal they played it during the playoffs last year and everyone is singing along young and old. Classics may not be sexy for the kids, but they bring everyone together regardless of age.

I rest my case.
