The chance of angeli passing Buchner is somewhere between zero and null
Not certain what makes you say that. Neither has looked great, but Angeli shows MUCH more natural QB skills, has better size, has natural pocket presence, and throws a better ball. But, I guess we’ll see.

Who needs a Lorenzo Styles when you have a Jaden Greathouse!?
Seems even more evident that the Freshman are truly ready to play a role. Likely changed the calculus on how many WR’s the staff felt they “needed”.

Thanks for the discord link Mike. O line has to tighten up. D line dominated for a lot of the game.

Doesn’t matter because both will be in Tuscaloosa next year
It probably won’t happen because life is never fair, but can you *imagine* if Rees coached and recruited the QB position the same way he did for most of his time here at Bama?

I hardly put much stock at all in Spring Games. That being said, the two glaring things I’ve noticed are:

1. Hartman is a great talent. The guy can play and is undoubtedly the starter. Any talk about Buchner “challenging” Hartman for the starting role should be squashed immediately.

2. Not wanting to name names (I’m sure you can figure it out), but a few of the current “projected starters” at linebacker are shockingly bad. They aren’t fast, athletic, agile, strong, good at shedding blocks, good in coverage, or good tacklers. They are liabilities everywhere, and teams will have a field day with them. It’s truly astonishing that they are being trotted out and are in this position. The young talent is promising, however.

Ziegler really popped today, in addition to Ausberry.
