Maybe Mullen pulls a 10 win season out of his ass and brings Grantham with him next year...

Not being an OSU fan, I have to question, is be being forced out???? I cannot believe he'd take a job at Minnie over staying at tOSU. I certainly don't believe he got some huge raise, either.....

Likely he was told he would be demoted back to OL coach and decided to take the Minnie OC job instead.

Can you imagine the intensity of an embarrassed Urbie and then Kevin Wilson as the bad cop to his bad cop for winter conditioning/spring ball?

I feel badly in a way for Kevin Wilson. I don't know all that went down in Bloomington, but most of his kids loved him. I'm not sure if it was a disgruntled few or one, even, but he did a pretty good job with that program, considering they're a basketball school.

I'd put my money on tOSU being the toughest damned team in the B1G next season, and I don't think it'll be close.......

Yep. Him and Beck are the scapegoats for the playoff game. Both him and Alford thought going to the Fuckeyes would lead to HC jobs and OC jobs. They should have known Meyer is a SOB.

Don't feel bad for him. He made more enemies than friends when he arrived. He quit paying HS coaches who helped work his camp and gave them t-shirts and shorts as payment. Cussed out a dorm monitor because the doors were locked after hours. Quite a few stories along those lines. But he was let go because he was forcing kids to come back from injuries earlier than recommended by the team doctors and trainers. No one questioned his ability to coach and he was building a decent program.

Coaches approving is a no brainer. That's like asking a kid if they want candy or squash for dinner. The real test will be if Mom (NCAA) approves of the candy.

If I'm Ken N and I'm at Cal, I seriously consider moving DRob to QB in the triple option. Have every offensive snap go through the hands of your best athlete.

my post was mostly in jest but would Ken N run any other type of offense bar the option? or is he wedded to it like paul johnson? I am always fascinated by the thought of other G/P5 schools running it, in the Pac12 it would be interesting as heck to see

How effective would it be if a big school in the Big 12 like Texas ran the triple option?
