Lol. I take that to mean his wife has poor choice in men.

So Car is Muschamps 11th stop in a 21 year career, barely 2 years a stop.

Biding his time until PSU is open, I'm guessing?

Possibly, but I'm not sure how long Franklin is gonna be at PSU for. His teams are right in that middle zone where he won't draw attention for an upgrade while at the same time won't draw significant heat to get fired.

But I think Rhule, like Herman, made smart decisions to stay at their schools and build on their success rather than jump ship to a suicide trap like Virginia....unlike say former Temple coaches Al Golden (fired) and Steve Addazio (Soon to be fired unless drastic turn around next year).

Serious? It felt like he was at Texas forever. Wasn't he considered their head coach in waiting for awhile?

He was HCIW, but he was only there a couple years.

I think his FL stint was the longest he held a job.

Him and VanGorder need to coach together. Maybe through shear will power of not wanting to be the first to flinch...both of them can stay at a place longer than 3 years and be effective.

This would be interesting.....
The attraction between BYU and Niumatalolo is both mutual and obvious. Niumatalolo is Mormon, making him one of the few qualified candidates able to fulfill the requirement BYU places on its head football coach. Niumatalolo’s testimony was one of six featured in the documentary “Meet the Mormons,” a 2014 film produced by the LDS church. Moreover, Niumatalolo is an important figure in the Pacific Islander football community, a key recruiting base for BYU.

Beyond that, Niumatalolo’s oldest son Va’a is a sophomore linebacker at BYU, and his youngest son Ali’i committed to Boise State in October.

I would arguably think that both BYU and Virginia came out on top if that happened. Love Ken.

and ND for that matter. Ken, IMO, produced better results than Paul Johnson.

I am happy they were good this year, but looking at future schedules, I would not mind having them move backwards as a team.

Seemed like he was at UT longer but he was only on the sidelines for two season at UT. He was born a wandering man.

Don't think this will happen. It's more complicated than meets the eye. I talked to his son, the linebacker here at BYU, and he was saying that Ken is like 2nd or 3rd highest paid government employee and if he coaches two more years at Navy than he gets the eternal retirement check of 75% of his paycheck now. Which is much more lucrative than coming to Byu where a coach makes MAYBE 1 mil a year.

Gotta love the government pension program if you work the State.

Not so great if you are in the private sector.

Rumors are that J. Pruitt will be accepting the Bama DC job. If true... my team would now have the two biggest pricks as coordinators in CFB.

Don't sell your HC short in the prick department, he's pretty girthy himself.

Recruiting becomes fairly easy when you pull recruits into your office and slip them some hundreds, still not sure how he never got in trouble for that during his first go around at Auburn. Also, sure lets say that Will is a GREAT recruiter, then what is the excuse for his teams being so shitty. He's just that much worse of a coach? Quickly becoming one of my least favorite guys in CFB.

I agree, I actually like Saban. I just re-watched Boogie Nights last night so I couldn't pass up the chance of using "prick" and "girthy" in the same sentence.

I do too actually. I think the SEC will be boring once Bama loses him.
