Not to toot the horn, but Dan Patrick confirmed what I've said all along. Dungy won't be interviewing for the Lions position or any other position. Evidently he asked Dungy about it while they were off the air.

On the air, Dungy did say he thought the Lions job was probably the best opportunity still available. He also said he would be leery about drafting Manziel. Wasn't sure how committed he would be to being the best QB he can be and had questions about his body being able to handle the hits.

I honestly don't know if he has much interest at this point... but how can UT not make one last attempt??... I'll bet there have been communications this morning... how Saban responded would dictate if they talk through the day... the last part is where I'm not so confident.

Speaking of coaching hires, we haven't settled on an offensive coordinator yet. In the transfer thread there was mention that Paul Johnson could be out at GT. Paul Johnson comes in as OC. Behind the Triple Option (Harumph Fullbacks) we capture a National Championship again like we did in '88.

Okay, maybe not, but we DO have another mobile QB from South Carolina that could pull it off.

This. I think Briles lost the job the minute he blew it against UCF with a pathetic defensive display. Mora just didn't win it, and will stay put until he gets a crack at the NFL.

So it's either got to be Strong, Jimbo, or Saban... right? I'm guessing those are in order of likeliness to happen.
