There is a rumor on Reddit that our boy Isaiah McKenzie supposedly got busted for cheating on finals and is leaving college after the bowl game.

These aren't the same players you remember from high school. I live in Georgia and see most of Georgia's games each year. These players are coming back because they really have no other choice. Michel was unlikely to get drafted if he came out. Has been an average player at Georgia. Chubb was not the same back this year coming off his knee surgery. Projected 3-4th rounder if he came out. Carter hasn't lived up to his billing so far and would have been a day three pick in the draft. Also Georgia is severely lacking on both the OL and DL and their WR's are very average.

They do have the #3 ranked recruiting class right now. May get a little help there. I'm really looking forward to this game.

We win this game by multiple touchdowns unless SEC officials screw us over.

What about the last 20+ years of Notre Dame football suggests that we will either win by multiple TDs OR not get screwed by officiating?

I think he's inferring that Georgia isn't a good football team, nor well coached. Which I think might be the case as well.

Still, If last year was any indication, we weren't a good football team and were coached every worse.

Lax was not very optimistic heading into 2016 but very optimistic heading into 2017. I'll take it as a good sign.

Well aware of what he was inferring. My question stands.

Sagarin's CURRENT Predicator Rating makes ND a 7.78 point favorite in South Bend.

Well we had only like 7 or 9 returning starters heading into 2016 and we have 16 returning starters going into 2017. 17 returning starters if you ask me because Torii Hunter was non existent at times. I think we may have finally found the answer that we have been looking for at DC and the our current starting QB seems to be the most promising QB in the BK era.

Now does that result in a multiple touchdown victory over Georgia? Ask me again in late August. It is a very long off season and if we learned anything from last summer, college kids are prone to doing stupid shit. But if the players can just keep their noses clean and Elko can turn the defense around in Fall camp, then I don't see why Brian Kelly can't get this thing going again and do a good enough job to be in South Bend past 2017 (IMO).
