If we can get a lot of 3 and outs then the running game should improve against fatigued defences.

I gotta say this might be the most profound thing I've read in years about winning football games.

We belong In every single conversation for the Playoffs because we won and we won with an Offence and defense on the field in our 3:30 matchup with an opposing team.

This is silly. Book wasn’t good, but the reason we were down at halftime was a poor defensive game plan.

It wasn’t a playoff caliber performance from him, but we should have never been down at the half. Lea is great making changes at halftime, but if he would commit to making changes earlier, it wouldn’t have been as close.

Book wasn’t good, but he was in no way bailed out.

I wish I understood it. I cant figure out how, at a school which values education and hard work, we cant find a QB who matures in understanding and execution of an offense over the course of his time here.

I wish I understood it. I cant figure out how, at a school which values education and hard work, we cant find a QB who matures in understanding and execution of an offense over the course of his time here.

At first I thought it was all credit due to scouting him - pure game planning. But as the season goes on it's becoming painfully obvious to me that Book was never that good. He misses way too many easy targets, whether it be an inaccurate throw or not seeing the correct read. It's not good. He's going to be the reason we don't break our 25-year tier I bowl victory drought this season.

Look what Lincoln Riley is doing with Hurts. Riley has any QB putting up video game numbers while Kelly's implode after one season.

I guess Jerry Jones is all in on Riley if Garrett doesn't get past the Divisional round again this season. I can't blame him.

Not sure what this really means. I saw, in this thread, posters blaming everything from Book to the secondary, to the pass rush. It was silly. It was a game plan that forced certain types of action, and players making plays that they had not until this week.

Then we adjusted. Just to late for some fans.
