We have to use the pass to setup the run. Problem is...Book. What we really need is Armstrong back and RB recruiting to get back on track.

Sounds like the defense was pretty darn good in the second half.
We wouldn't have won without the second half performance of the defense. The offense was disappointing again, at least until the series featuring Tony Jones near the end. The offense has to be corrected or we could struggle to finish off games all season. The offense has given no indication that we belong in any discussion of play-off teams. The defense, on the other hand, ...

This story is getting old. Defensive talent and coaching is there. We also have some talent on O. But we do not have a good offensive scheme or coaching (aside from some position coaches NOT OL).
100%Book was bailed out by an exceptional defensive performance.

Anyone else think that Claypool’s ankle injury was from the UVA player twisting it at he end of the play?
Remember thinking it seemed like he went at his ankles unecessarily when watching live. Will have to see it again.Anyone else think that Claypool’s ankle injury was from the UVA player twisting it at he end of the play?
Like so many before him, Book seems to have caught Second Year Starter Disease. I do not understand this.
This is silly. Book wasn’t good, but the reason we were down at halftime was a poor defensive game plan.
It wasn’t a playoff caliber performance from him, but we should have never been down at the half. Lea is great making changes at halftime, but if he would commit to making changes earlier, it wouldn’t have been as close.
Book wasn’t good, but he was in no way bailed out.
Yes, and it was obvious he was trying to hurt him. It was a dirty play and the kid should be embareased
At first I thought it was all credit due to scouting him - pure game planning. But as the season goes on it's becoming painfully obvious to me that Book was never that good. He misses way too many easy targets, whether it be an inaccurate throw or not seeing the correct read. It's not good. He's going to be the reason we don't break our 25-year tier I bowl victory drought this season.I wish I understood it. I cant figure out how, at a school which values education and hard work, we cant find a QB who matures in understanding and execution of an offense over the course of his time here.
Alright so my eyes weren’t lying. My wife even yelled at the tv after watching the replay. It’s a shame that that actually hurt him, absolutely embarrassing.

He probably would be the first one on the staff to tell you something like...
a cog in wheel type things.

Look what Lincoln Riley is doing with Hurts. Riley has any QB putting up video game numbers while Kelly's implode after one season.
I guess Jerry Jones is all in on Riley if Garrett doesn't get past the Divisional round again this season. I can't blame him.
