Funny you say that.

I distinctly remember many people at Alabama clutching their pearls when Penn State came to town, and their messy fans left a landfill of broken bottles, garbage, etc littered everywhere in the tailgate areas.

In my experience, the B1G has by far the least respectful and messiest fans.

B1G teams have been bad, Michigan in particular, but when it came to litter Georgia absolutely took the cake. It was disgusting and sad, for as polite and cordial as they were as a fanbase they were unbelievably lazy and disrespectful with the cans and broken bottles everywhere.

I was at both. There was so many Georgia fans it was sick. From a personality standpoint the Georgia fans were pretty cool, a number of them asked about gameday traditions and followed us around. Quite a few came to check out Trumpets Under the Dome. From a cleanliness standpoint they were the absolute messiest fanbase I've ever seen...the campus was littered with broken beer bottles and cans the likes of which I've never seen.

The only negative I had with a Georgia fan that day came during the actual game. A drunk blond coed behind me was constantly screaming profanities, she was kneeing me in the back, and she'd yell out "CHUBBY CHUBB CHUBB CHUUUUBBBBB!!" every offensive play, even when Sonny Michel was in. I think I documented it in the post game thread.

I feel like I jinxed Nick with this post today...

One of the posters on 247 works for the stadium production crew and he said the wristbands are just one of a few surprises for the game. I'm trying to think of what other stuff they haven't done before.

I guess fireworks or pyrotechnics of some type would be new. But they've done smoke and light shows already, I don't know what else there is.

Maybe it's something cool I don't even know about.

Have they ever done the lights going off/flashing when ND scores a TD for a night game? They weren't at the last one I went to. Florida did this on Saturday and it looked pretty sick. With all the green wrist bands, it would look pretty cool.

They did a lot of LED lights off and on stuff for Clemson last year, especially between 3rd/4th quarter I think

For the last couple of seasons they've been turning down the lights as the team approaches the tunnel pregame and again between the 3rd and 4th quarter. I don't recall if they've ever done the TD celebrations, but I wouldn't mind it.

Whatever the players/students like to get hyped up. If it pisses off the "down in front" bluebloods at the same time, all the better.

They are removing the seats, forcing everyone to stand the whole game.

It’s about time they get with the times. People blame fans for the lack of a home field advantage, but it’s really the stadium crew that should be blamed.

And, for the love of God, please stop acknowledging the professor of the month or the underwater basket weaving team during a tv timeout before a big 3rd down. No one gives a fuck.

The drone show Texas implemented last Saturday was awesome. A giant leprechaun would be pretty slick although much more difficult. Clover maybe

Have to make sure the crowd stays into it when you're in a dog fight against Wyoming, you know?

On 11 Warriors they have a tickets thread. And some guys were openly complaining about ND making it hard to get tickets on the secondary market.

Sampson is writing an article on it that is supposed to be coming out early this week.
I heard Sampson say that and that he interviewed a UGA fan who explained the process of getting tix and that it would infuriate some ND fans…LOL

This gives me a flashback to the Southern Cal game years ago when we went to really shiny helmets and smoke in the tunnel and then got our asses kicked. Hold me, I’m Irish 😂
