I always think these things are over played.. Is Notre Dame going to play harder because Temple thinks they will win? It seems to be more talk for media then actually having any effect on the game

Just tell Q that the first time starter at Mike things Temple will win in a blowout. Get him even more mad.

Agreed.

Reporter - "A player from Temple thinks they will win big"
Q, McG - "Really? That's cool. We think we're going to win"

It's this quote and there was a Temple DB that said something along the lines of "we're gonna whoop their ass". Getting rid of the nasty taste they've had in their mouths all off season from last year should be enough motivation to take care of business on Saturday; these quotes should only add fuel to the fire.

IMO bulletin board material only really matters to underdogs and relatively evenly-matched teams. I think teams with a large talent disparity tend to respond with more a "meh" than anything else.

I think any team that needs a bulletin board to give max effort is absolutely screwed from the start

Still not as bad as the Rice guy in 2014 who was like "I can't share that" to basic ass questions because he thought it would give a "competitive advantage" to ND and acted like Rice had NFL talent all over the field.

Man I don't remember that. Where does ISD find these guys?

I think Nyles and company come out and dominate. We shall see.

Maybe it's misplaced but BK said the team was ready to go yesterday. I think we have more talent of D than people are giving us credit for, and these guys are ready to go.

I think it's because they're small schools with limited fanbases and no real winning tradition. So you end up with the teams being covered by a total die hard who's developed a huge chip on their shoulder because their program gets no respect or attention.

This LB crew is going to wreck some teams. Just gotta hope the D line can do their part to keep lineman off of Nyles Martini and everyone else

It was the funniest shit ever because everyone's comments after the fact were like "soooo... wait... is Rice good?"

Syracuse has a sbnation site and the editor was just like that, a total nutjob and a ND hater
