Their speed on offense still concerns me. Two guys on the field for them that run close to 4.3 speed. They are dangerous.


Our DEs need to keep playing honest. Get your sacks later. We need to stop the run.


Let's be honest, they might not have 14 if our stud DEs don't jump offsides on back to back drives.

1) If this is Book's normal we are going 8-5 or worse. Despite people bemoaning him en masse, this is a borderline bizzare performance from him given his normal MO.
2) Chase Claypoole has vanished thus far as a gamechanger.
3) Defensive adjustments appear to be stellar, it's a real shame our offense went 3 and out after the first touchdown because I think that screwed them out of getting those adjustments in sooner.
4) Any chance of appearing impressive on the lone Monday game is likely gone barring some insane offensive numbers in the second half. Que the haters unless we score 6 touchdowns in the second half.

All in all, super frustrating first half. Basically what we should've expected given that we are not Clemson or Bama and are playing our first game on the road against a P5 team with a decent coach.

Clark Lea better be prepared for rapid adjustments and we need to prevent them from scoring on their first possession.
