If the shit hits the fan for Texass could really be interesting how that crack could potentially become a fracture.

So we lost talent but we gained talent. Texas was horrible last year and though they should be improved with a year under their belts, but I guess I missed the part where ND lost all their talent and therefore can't compete with Texas. Our recruiting classes have been really good the last few years and due to injuries last year young players got a lot of experience. Obviously there is a chance we lose but what am I missing that makes Texas the better gamble?

Good points. To answer your question: nothing.

This is the beginning of the football season and people see whatever they want to, that is, until the games are played.

Reasons for the upset pick are a) some people want to see ND fail, b) people want to see Texas rise back to prominence because it is good for football, and c) its a big game all by itself on Sunday so people want a Cinderella story line.

I was wondering earlier today if they had already announced that and I missed it. Assumed they haven't then. I think it's a cool idea to give it out week to week
