Irish are now 7-0 for my game attendance!! Whew!!

I didn't see you on the sidelines, but I was distracted. Between watching the game, pacing around the room, grabbing another beer, and "draining" previous beers I missed a bit here and there.

Is there a "Get K1ssme a Season Ticket Fund" I can contribute to? In the meantime:

Catch as many games as you can and keep the streak alive!

Mark May is a douche bag.

What bothers me the most about Mark May is that, even as many other ESPN talking heads are admitting that we finally have some athletes on defense and that it looks like we're getting things going, he REFUSES to acknowledge any of that and instead just spews nonsense about how it's all a fluke. And then he goes on to say we have hard games against Miami, BYU and (best one) Pitt that will keep us from getting to the BCS. Is he serious? Mark, your Panthers are and will forever be irrelevant. I know you're butthurt about that, but GET OVER IT.

Now, about the game tonight: That was the best and loudest experience I've ever had in Notre Dame Stadium. And after the game when they played "Oh What a Night" and none of the students had left and we all just sang and danced was incredible. I love my University more than words can even begin to describe.

WE ARE ND! WE FINALLY BEAT MICHIGAN!

Getting angry about mark may talking bad about ND is silly. He's told by the producers to do it because they like the friction between him and Lou. It's an act, a game, a farce, a play that they put on to get fanboys upset. Don't pay any attention to it. It doesn't reflect reality anymore than Lou predicting us playing in the NC game does.

Very true. And the sad part is that even though I know that, it still annoys me! Guess I should just avoid ESPN altogether! Regardless, f*** Mark May, no way anything he says will make tonight any less amazing. I'm so proud of this team. Who would have thought they would get through September undefeated!?

And let's not forget....that for years now, the Irish have proved Mark May correct. I love that he will be wrong this year. But between actual performance and listening to Lou, his point of view is not unreasonable.

Manti is the poster man for what is good in college sports. And a role model of what a person should be.

1. Faith in God!
2. Rises up when things aren't good
3. Good teammate, and good for others.
4. Faithfull and loyal
5. A Leader
6. Puts himself before others.
7. Reliable and is there to have anothers back.

We are lucky to call him Irish.

Thank you Manti for choosing ND. Thank you Irish Nation for backing him. Thank you Teo family for allowing him to be here.

Go Irish

I think you mean, puts others before himself. Otherwise, spot on.

I know this isn't the Alabama defense, so don't go there...

“I think the key to stopping such a dynamic player like denard is everybody has to get to him,” Manti Te’o said after the game. “Everybody has to get to the ball. You have to really emphasize eleven guys to the ball and I think our coaches have done a great job in stressing the importance of everybody getting the ball.”

The ball was certainly up for grabs Saturday night and the Irish capitalized. Notre Dame held Robinson to the lowest passer rating of his career as a starter, all while holding him below 100 yards rushing. While nobody is ready to put the Irish defense in the same class as Alabama’s, the numbers are worth comparing.

Robinson vs. Alabama
11 of 26 for 200 yards. 1 TD, 2 INT (104.2 QB Rating). 10 rushes for 27 yards, 1 TD.

Robinson vs. Notre Dame
13 of 24 for 138. 0 TD, 4 INT (69.1 QB Rating). 26 rushes for 90 yards, 0 TD, 1 fumble.

After crumbling at the end of two straight losses to Michigan, Robinson was unable to do anything against the Irish, and it was a crushing blow to the senior quarterback that’s had so much success against Notre Dame.

“I’m disappointed in myself,” Robinson said. “The 22 years I’ve been living, this is the most disappointed I’ve been in myself.”
