At gym just now and saw Todd Blackledge pick Michigan saying story is still the same: Denard has too much speed for ND to handle.

About to get on this plane to Chicago... final notes/predictions!

-Golic Jr. and Lombard are the two "unsung" offensive players who will have a drastic impact on whether ND wins or loses.
-Zeke Motta is the most important player on the defense... needs to tackle when he has the chance, needs to cover when asked to, and needs to lead by both direction and example for the young guys back there. If there was ever a game where we needed Motta to play lights out... it's tomorrow.
-Watch for at least 2 bogus holding calls/no-calls in favor of Michigan and 2 bogus PI calls/no-calls. In basketball the easiest way to point shave/put in the fix is with the block-or-charge call... in football it is holding and pass interference. Hoping these Big Ten refs aren't encouraged to stem the poor OOC performances by the Big Ten and are instead a bunch of Ohio State/MSU fans......
-If DaVaris Daniels is 100%, he has a big impact.
-Watch for a breakout game from either TJ Jones or Chris Brown.
-There are at least 3 occasions where Troy Niklas/Ben Koyack completely screws up blocking and it destroys the play.
-They send Gardner deep and throw him the jump ball at least 3 times.
-Danny Spond gets an interception.
-Roy Roundtree goes for 100+ yards and 10+ catches.
-Denard Robinson turns the ball over twice in the first half.
-Everett Golson completes 60% of his passes and goes for over 300 yards for the first time. Because he's a gamer.
-And most importantly.... no cold rain during the game!!!

GO IRISH, BEAT WOLVERINES!

Another reporter said that was Niklas's audition for Magic Mike 2 haha. Is there a replay of the pep rally anywhere?

Notre Dame Week 4: Did you know? - Notre Dame Football Blog - ESPN

Best three:

Notre Dame's defense has allowed just 103 yards and five first downs in the fourth quarter this season. Among BCS-AQ teams, that ranks in the top five in both categories.

Through three games last season, Notre Dame led FBS schools with five red-zone turnovers (three picks, two fumbles). This year the Irish have thrown just one interception in 15 red-zone drives. Michigan has not forced a red-zone turnover in 12 drives this season, and has allowed opponents to score on 83.3 percent of red-zone chances.

Everett Golson has completed 9 of 18 passes with a touchdown and no interceptions when under duress. Denard Robinson is 5 of 20 with a touchdown and two interceptions when under duress.

I have a bad feeling about Denard in this game he just has our number.

I have heard and read all there is to hear and read...even as a coach and scout myself I fear Denard... and despite the well worded battle cries on here we have had the better team, and have outplayed them for the majority three games running, yet have nothing to show for it... so why should any of that matter this year?

It will all come down to can this team beat Denard... not UM but Denard... If i had to guess... it will be a close game and he goes Madden '08 on rookie on us in the final few minutes and pulls it out.

again, hope I'm wrong

this week has felt different for me, just little things that have been routine have changed. With a game like this im over-anazlying everythnig so Im hoping for one of the fine folks on here with a cooler head to tell me that my weekly routine will have no effect on the outcome of this game. GO IRISH!!! BEAT UM!!!!

Nice tribute to Manti. Also, Shembo and Niklas were hilarious!!! I love this team. What a great mix of characters!!!

Hopefully we can hit him early and hit him often...I feel scUM conceded running Denard vs. Bama in fear of him literally getting killed. Wonder if our front 7 will get same respect...after watching Prince live 2nite- I'd be afraid of him lol. For scUM's sake they better hope it wasnt Denard that stole Shembo's bike seat!!
