Do they want App State to vacate the win?
It sounds soooo much better to say we were stoned rather than we got beat by an entire team of guys without Div 1 scholarships.
And the coaches, trainers, nor the media didn't notice anyone stoned? And it remained a secret for 5 years?
Were they still stoned the next week they were whipped by Oregon 39-7?
Or stoned the following year in the losses to ND, Illinois, Toledo, PSU, MSU, PU, and Northwestern?

So this former player either:
a) has a major axe to grind
b) is trying to make an excuse for why they lost to app st
c) a & b
d) is an honest guy

This honestly doesn't surpirse me at all. This took place back when some of my friends who went to scUM were starting their sophmore year, and they have actually told me of quite a few of their personal stories about the football team during Carrs last 2 seasons, which was our freshman and sophmore years of college... They also mentioned how, beleive it or not, RR actually cleaned it up. By now I assume Hoke is running a pretty errrrr "clean" ship...??
Oh ya i almost forgot, $100 that offensive player was Mario Manningham.

Does anyone know if ND has released any speacial logo or graphic for the Michigan NIGHT GAME? I saw that there is a unique grapic/ logo for the navy game in Dublin, and i also saw the shamrock series logo for the game in chicago. I was just curious if they were going to try and promote the night game as a "special" game and make a unique logo for it. I know last year scUM made a spcial UTL logo for the game.

No, I don't think we had one for the USC game last year. I was just curious if anyone had seen one for this year. I don't think they are going to make one, becasue i think they would have released it by now if they were going to. Along with gear, etc...

girlfriend and i both had our phones and computers: no dice.
i was trying for 2 together. we both couldnt get anywhere online. i spoke to the ticket office. and by the time i got through, at about 8:34, they were sold out of michigan.
they offered, "but we have other games available". i passed.

My buddy and I tried online immediately the very first second the link would work and called repeatedly. It literally sold out in under 3 seconds. I also had two other buddies that I know were trying for themselves that had no luck.

it was really no mystery. plus, they dont tell you how many tickets were returned. they literally could have had 10 given back to them by michigan's allotment.

I made a comment to one of my coworkers who is a diehard michigan fan.
He said "our depth chart doesn't change through the year and Hoke said he still might not play"
....really, I say to the simple minded michigan fan, "so if Denard tears his knee and is unavailible to play for the yr, is he show up as the #1/Starter on the depth chart??"
scUM fans response, "Of course not, he is unable to play"
To which I say "Precisly! If Hoke was gonna do anything he would be 'unable' to play and not be in the 2 deep as the #1? So all that high horse talk from you last year to me about Floyd sounds pretty silly now doesnt it?" **Cricketts**

I hope they win and then we tear them up, but honestly...I just don't see them getting out of this game w/o being destroyed.

i don't think they will but if they ever had a chance it would be playing them the 1st game of the year...i hope michigan does win so they have the highest of highs and then we beat them and knock them back to reality...at least this is how it would look the best for ND as it would give us a better signature win beating UM who beat bama vs a 1-1 michigan...it might shut espn and others up for a bit

i really dont see anyway of them winning. all they have is R16, and i can see bama's D shutting him down forcing the rest of the team to make plays.

Fitz got his DUI plead down to "driving while visibly impaired"... that's some good lawyerin'
Gardner is a starter at WR... and somehow preserved eligibility despite playing meaningful snaps in both of his first 2 seasons? Huh? Anyways, listed as a RS Soph and could ultimately be their secret weapon. Their WR depth is horrendous after their starters.
Even worse than at WR, their OL drops off a freaking cliff after their starters. But their starters look darn solid as a unit.
Depth is a serious concern.... even maybe more than with us... at just about every position. Hoke just issued 7 schollies to walk-ons. The difference? Apparently Michigan players don't get injured but our key pieces every year seem to go down with something.
With some isolated injuries to their OLs, DBs, or QB their season could completely tank. Not too dissimilar to us.
