There's a lot of mention about Denard's hail marys, but how good of a qb do you think he is? Based on his scrambling nature, would you put him in the same boat as C.Newton or M.Vick during their college years?

BTW any NYC Irish Envy peeps out there?

NO.

Cam Newton could throw a football through a basketball rim welded on the top of a speeding golf cart at 40 yards. He was an uncanny football talent period and doled out punishment when he ran the ball.

Vick was a much better passer in college than Douche Rob could ever imagine being. He wasn't asked to throw as much but you could tell when watching him that his passing was more crisp and on target. He also took better care of the ball. Vick also missed approximately three games in his final season (2000), which make a reliance on his stats unreliable. If you watched the both of them I would definitely give the edge to Vick.

Thought so. To be fair I've got limited access to college games in Australia so i didnt really follow Vicks and Newtons collage careers...

I just enjoy seeing Robinson get lit up.

I added some more to what I was saying about Vick, I edited the post above.

Thanks for the insight irishfanjho15. I guess, ND can only dream of recruiting a qb talent as good as Vick or Newton in the near future. But when we do, it's gonna be SWEET!

Its going to be electric in the stadium on the 22nd, I can feel it!

Honestly, Denard is like playing Devin Hester as your QB. He is a magician with the ball in his hands, but passes the ball as well as your average wide receiver....no passing skills whatsoever. That's why seeing what mich did to our secondary last season just sickens me

I'm 0-4 in person against scUM. I NEED this victory to preserve my sanity

For some reason, I always have to miss the scUM game. I am 2-0 on the ones I have been to though. Our last win over them was an amazing game. Pouring down rain and drunk as a skunk.

I was studying abroad that year (2008) so I somehow missed the only win we had against them while I was a student

Good news Fellas!!! I am 5-0 at home game attendance!! And the good news is, I'll be at every home game this season on the sidelines. So maybe my winning karma can ward off any other karma floating around the stadium.

This game was awesome. Still can't get the image of Charlie getting bent in half on the sidelines out of my head.

That was my only UM game I've been to, and I'll be there this year as well. Praying to make it 2-0!
