Unfortunately, my girlfriends asshat sister decided to get married on 9/22 like a moron. I have made arrangements for a tv to be at the reception otherwise my gf would be flying solo. But it still sucks.

I hope the stadium is rocking

What would be a good backup plan if one can't get tickets. I plan on going to the stadium with my brother, and will try to get tickets the day of the game.

If we're unsuccessful, where would be a good place to go watch it. Will there be room in a bar or something, or should I just listen to the game on the car radio?

I think that puts them at one more major injury than they had all of last year. I swear, I've never seen a team have as lucky of a season as they did last year. Props tp them for crating their own luck and taking full advantage of it, but man, from 80% of all fumbles going their way, Denard's hail mary's that ALWAYS found their mark, lack of injuries, etc etc etc, it was a year for the ages. We'll see if the law of averages catches up to them this year...

I'm hoping they get absolutely destroyed by Bama and Denard goes something like 10-30 with 4 picks.

How does everyone feel about that game?! I know general consensus might look at it quick and say yes they do get curb stomped-but I'm worried about this. I just see too many things in scUM's favor (imagine that hey!?). Neutral site, Nat'l championship hangover for Bama, Bama replacing many players to NFL-yes the guys filling in are studs, but many studs playing in their first big time football game. If the don't Roll Tide the scUM early and let them hang around then you get the experienced senior QB in whats his face running around throwing up duck hailmarys into coverage that somehow land in his own teammates hands...blahhh, I can just see all these things happening and scUM lucking out again and pulling one out here.

I don't see any way Michigan can win that game. If they somehow did, though, it would not be the worst thing in the world for the Irish. Yes, we'd have to listen to the Michigan fans we know chirp about it, but on the other hand a UM win would have them probably in the top-5, maybe top-3, when we play them in week 4. I am unreasonably confident about our game with Michigan.

Alabama's OL is the best in the nation and they will be able to run all day on Michigan.

There is a diiference between a college football defense and an Alabama defense. Alabam's defense is about as close you can get to an NFL defense. Denard doesn't have a have a chance in this game, throwing up ducks might work against us but they sure as hell won't work against Bama. And scUM's defense just isn't that good so Bama should have no problem there either.

But unlike most most Irish fans, I want Michigan to beat Bama because when we rip scUM a new @sshole under the lights it will look much better for us

im like you...it looks better when we beat michigan if they beat bama...however i am perfectly fine too with them getting their @sses beat

I feel those duck Hail Marys aren't going to work this year. Most of the receiving end of those jump balls were to Hemingway, who isn't there anymore. Roundtree can't go up like Junior did.

That would be my preference, but as long as we beat them I'm happy.

I want Michigan to get beat by as many teams as possible, because I live in MI and the MI fans are by far and away the most obnoxious people on this planet, and I want their mouths to shut.

ITS TRUE!! I moved from there and lost like 35lbs....that state and people there depress the sh!t outta me! (sorry to all the IE members that live there, but it's true)
