Being at the game I wasn't able to see/ hear what people had to say about this, but why was the clock running so much during the game. In the stadium it was running even when guys ran out of bounds? Am i missing something here?

The clock stops only momentarily when a runner goes out of bounds unless there are less than two minutes left in the half.

Manti Te’o is what’s good about college football.

With his work done for the evening and the Notre Dame sidelines basking in victory, the Irish’s senior linebacker went down to a knee, closed his eyes, and said a prayer. It’s been a life-changing week for Te’o, who lost his girlfriend to a long battle with leukemia and his grandmother in a 48-hour span. That two of Te’o's teammates put a hand on each of his shoulders was fitting, as he carried the memory of two loved ones on his own shoulders as he willed the Irish defense to victory.

“He’s so strong for everybody, so when he was in this time, everybody wanted to help him out,” Kelly said. “I’ve never seen that type of dynamic.”

Mike Valenti is the guys name, its on 97.1 the ticket, a very popular sports show here in metro detroit. The Valenti-Foster show is on weekdays 2-6, but since they cover the lions press conference mondays at 2:30, they usually don't get to spartan coverage till 3........i know i'll be tuned in!

I would care if I were him.. I bet he's ecstatic that we won (as am I), but a part of him has to be wondering why he got taken out.. I guess I see things differently, I'd take it as a sign of disrespect, most people don't seem to care.. to each his own, just mind boggling to me

I thought it was because Rees is most reliable/comfortable taking snaps from under center and all we wanted to do was hand the ball off.

They called Golson to Goodman a 55 yard throw (thrown from about the 40 to the opposite side of the field). That's pretty far in my book, and he was feeling a little pressure. Over throw to Chris Brown deep and another over thrown deep ball, plus flinging the ball about 20 yards while parallel to the ground getting tackled backwards.... Herbie and Brent called it, he has the arm to make any throw on the field. He has the head to put it where only his guy can get it too.

Pretty sure this game is going to replayed on ESPNU on Tuesday at 8:30pm CT. It doesn't have a year listed, but I can only imagine it will be this past weekend's game.

Also, there is a show that I really like on ESPNU called ESPNU Road Trip. It's all about the tailgating and pregame traditions at different schools. They usually take the last 8 minutes of the show or so to film from the game with student reactions and stuff. They were at MSU this weekend. The show for the MSU v ND game will be aired Tuesday at 6:30 CT. Just a heads up if anyone is interested in that sort of thing.

Haha that's what I did as well. I was watching last weeks at TAMU and they said they will be in East Lansing for next weeks episode. Went right to the phone and hit record so I don't forget haha.

Yes, I watch those, but they are not as well done in terms of cinematography, details, interviews, overall sentiment, and length as MSU's. In other words, MSU is doing it much better than und.com at this point.
