because top teams are top teams, with top players. Thats why they dont play freshman. If we suck and freshman studs arent going to get playing time than what reason does anyone have to come here and play ball? Education? Theses kids want to play on sunday, not graduate from notre dame and get office jobs.

He has to get more than one carry a game - period. We averaged three yards a carry, you're telling me Bryant would do worse? If he does the same as the others then he should play because he has a higher ceiling.

No other team in the country is losing top recruits like is, as no other team is making them sit in favour of guys who play no better than them but simply have more experience. It's not a coincidence.

Play the star freshmen or lose them. And even worse, soon enough we won't be able to recruit them.

michigan was coming off a huge win. those letdown games happen to everyone. USC is terrible this year, and no idea what happened to Stanford, but they still won by two tds. Coming off of a disappointing loss, nd should have been pumped to get back on the field and destroy Purdue.
