I will be nervous every game this season, as usual. Though, I will say it will be just in the beginning. I worry when we come out in the 1st and 3rd. All a team like Navy, BYU, Miami, BC, etc need is to see us at a weak point. If we start out slow, say a first drive that leads to a punt, and they can capitalize with a score. We now have work to do and the opposing team is more pumped with adrenaline then they have probably ever felt. Over 4 quarters, we are better than most on the schedule, but we have lacked the mental toughness for all 4 quarters in my eyes. Getting up and coming out strong in the 3rd will be what I am looking for this season. Just my way of looking at the season...

This is why I worry about Navy right away. Should win by 35 but could be close, or a loss, if we let them. They play all 60 mins.

I also am predicting a win by 28 on Michigan if we are all together come week 4. (Bold I know) I believe that is the difference our team can play on the field.

I know there was a thread like this about a year ago, but I'm too lazy to research it. It was about everyone on here talking about their game day routines/ rituals/ schedules.

I don't know about you guys but I'm ticked about this 9 am kickoff. Completely turns my Saturday schedule around and it interrupts the first college gameday show of the year. Gonna be weird watching ND with eggs and coffee.

Thoughts?

I will have 2 TVs set up in my living room. During ND commercials I will have Gameday on. One of the things I really like from ESPN

ya i know i cant wait for Bama vs michigan too!

Haha still cant decide who I want to win that game, as much as I hate the skunkbears , we could beat them when they're in the top 5 if they win. I don't see them having much of a chance against bama either way.
oh yeah, and Arkansas vs Jacksonville state should be a barnburner

Wake up around 5 and go for a run that I like to go on every morning. Than wake and bake......breakfast. Than shower make a real good breakfast. Haven't decided what I am going to drink yet depends when I wake up what I am feeling. Only thing I am kind of bummed about is missing game day. I really do enjoy watching game day. Than come on here and get ready to see everyone bitching and all of the "I am done" posts that you like to see. And if we win everyone will be slamming way to much Kool Aid and people will be drunk. You will here some "Everett Golson will be a Heisman trophy candidate this year." All I know is I will be super jacked to celebrate an Irish win.

My gameday plan will probably consist of me waking up at 10, realizing i forgot to set my alarm, panicking, and turning on the TV to see the Irish up by 21 in the 2nd quarter.

I like to see every team we play win (besides against us of course) just so our strength of schedule is better. But I agree with you...it is hard to root for the likes of Mich and USC.

If you lived in SB would you watch the game and get slammered with all the other ND fans at a bar or stay home and watch it in the basement with a couple friends? Oh and btw...most of the bars are doing kegs and eggs

The 2nd quarter must have just started.

My wife came home with these sweet glasses...a gift from the alumni office. Notice the little football engraved at the bottom...the pictures don't do it justice. The engraving is really down well and the glass is top quality. These are gonna raised after the beat-down next Saturday!
