Same thing would happen here. The schools will just pay the fine and move on. Who doesn't want a reputation being hostile
Tennessee banned at least 9 people when they threw mustard onto the field

Two of the top 3 players in Sack yardage in the SEC played on the 2021 3-9 Georgia Tech Yellowjackets.

Only one lineman, offensive or defensive made the all-SEC team and is not draft eligible for 2025 (Kadyn Proctor)

Same goes for the all-Big10 team (Matayo Uigaleilei)

The only all American lineman who won’t be draft eligible is Utah’s Spencer Fano

If there was ever an argument for maturity and development on the offensive and defensive lines, this is it.

These super conferences (specifically the SEC) are inevitably going to create misery for so many programs.

The top NINE SEC schools have a higher FPI rating than the number one Big 12 school (Colorado), and the top 5 have a higher rating than the #1 ACC school (Miami).

For a school like Oklahoma, it really feels like you’re trading $$$ for long-term national relevance. I don’t see how they consistently make the playoffs Regardless of coach.

Oklahoma was gonna be bad in any conference this year. Just a terribly coached team.

You're exactly right, but It's what all of them wanted. Nothing like the "we're the best 7-5 team in America" badge of honor because it means more.

Either the SMU and IU types get left out entirely or get seeded very low despite winning 10+ games. That's ultimately where it's going. Notice how everyone had a lot to say about SMU, IU and Clemson all getting beat downs. Ohio State gave it to Tennessee and that narrative wasn't close to being the same.
