I think it says quite a bit that none of the four who've made any sort of public comment - so far at least - has really lit into Notre Dame, and that at least two - and maybe the two most draftable (I could see a case for Ishaq over DD on potential) - have openly said they plan to come back. Hopefully that happens.

All uphill from here IMO.
1) we know the outcome of at least 4
2) KVR and IW will be back to add to a pretty damn good defense
3) DD's loss sucks, but we're doing pretty good so far (better if Golson stops locking in on WRs)
4) KM was not probably going to be in the 2 deep anyway
5) we need depth at DB, but we'll be fine
6) we're number 5 in the country
7) All the other scandals have outshined ours
8) we're only a few days away from beating FSU

Meh, the season is uphill still for sure, but the "Frozen 5" situation/cloud is over and done with as far as I'm concerned. It's essentially case closed, Hardy isn't going to make a big difference if he did come back, and he's likely out for the year like the rest of them. Essentially the damage is done and the healing can begin at this point...unless the university decides to vacate those wins. Otherwise, we're done here, lock it up, last person out turn the light off!

I think we are saying the same thing. Thought you meant downhill as going-downhill.... you mean downhill as getting easier... or at least I think. If so, I agree. All positive from here.

FURBUSH rules prevent the school from giving details. Any details would have to come from the individuals. So... we'll likely never hear the whole scoop unless someone writes a book. All that's left is the rumored violations thread
