My question about Rice and the NFL is this... Even if you just saw the first video, regardless of what happened in the elevator, Rice knocked her out. Was never in dispute! So just by seeing the brutality of it, its NOW an indefinite suspension?
Maybe he will, but I'm not so sure. His inconsistency's on punishment is all over the board and "NOW" held a PC and cited quite a few instances similar to the Rice incident where the punishment levied was minor compared to lesser infractions.
Keep in mind he has publicly stated they had never seen the video and now there is proof they had.

I'm sorry for going off topic a little, I've tried to keep up on this thread but may have missed something. Obviously the 5 players are still suspended, is there any credible info as to the status of the investigation and the committee review?

Kelly said on Jim Rome yesterday that he heard there would be resolution, "soon."
If he didn't see it, he willfully chose not to. I'm not sure which is worse.
Even if he somehow didn't know someone had sent a copy to the NFL, every inch of public space in every casino in America is on video 24/7. They must've known the casino had videotape. And don't give me this BS about it being illegal to ask for a copy. The criminal investigation was long over. And even if it wasn't, the casino could have easily provided a copy. If Goodell wanted to see the thing, he would have before now.
Somewhere in this tangent, there is a delicate thread back to the investigation of academic misconduct by several Notre Dame football players. I can't quite articulate it but have a feeling it runs through Goodell's mantra to "protect the shield" above all else. But in Notre Dame's case, I actually think academic integrity is a shield worth fighting for. I'm not so sure I feel that way about the NFL's brand and public image at this point.

The indefinite suspension is not because the NFL suddenly saw the video, the indefinite suspension is because you and I (and the whole world) has seen the video.
I use Geico now and they did save me 15% or more.Did anyone else hear the news?
You can save 15% or more by switching to Geico?
