Only reason I posted as much as I even have is because there's an ndnation post to that effect. Wait for an announcement, and then deal with it once something is official. No one knows th exact parameters of suspension, discipline, etc. and rumor mongering is dumb.

It's one reserve, 3 starters. All upperclassmen. One was a potential captain, another was at a position of shitty depth, and the last was a key player but is replaceable.

What I don't know/understand is how this crap broke when it did and how it did and why we can't just insulate/protect our football players like other schools. We are literally the only school in the history of CFB that goes after their own players for academic misconduct if they'd be otherwise eligible.

I'm just hoping against hope that there is some miscommunication here and it isn't as bad as it seems. If it is, this season is done and I bet Kelly is taking the first ticket out of town.[/

I agree. I'm so tired of this shit. Why would any kid want to come to ND over an Sec school or say FSU. Rape a chick, play for and win the National Championship. Go to ND cheat on a test and your done for the season. I understand that ND holds itself to higher standards but it's getting ridiculous.

One thing LAX, does upper classman mean senior or fifth year, or anything beyond sophomore?

And the thread says not Golson.

(Daniels, Williams, Day and Moore?) What do they have in common? Was it cheating on their transcripts? Why would wins from '13 not be in question?

Its frustrating, I agree. But isn't it really getting ridiculous on the other side! If we can't compete, its because other schools are acting crazy.

Kicking a kid out for something stupid is one thing (driving a gulf cart drunk), but let's wait and hear what it was first.

The only kids we could not have a good season without are: Golson, Day, Jones, and J. Smith. Everyone else is replaceable, though there could be some real pain!
