I realize I'm a few hours late to the party, but Rax was the shit! Grew up in Chesterton and that was the place to go downtown. Or so I thought until it closed.

I used to LOVE Rax. To this day, I always go by the restaurant that's there now and say that's where Rax used to be.

I like Five Guys but don't love it (I probably like In-N-Out more) but there is no fucking way that Wendy's is better than Five Guys.

Personal preference thing. Me personally, brown sugar, but I have some buddies who swear regular sugar gives you a better caramelization.

White sugar definitely is better for caramelzation. Brown sugar has molasses content and causes different behavior during cooking. I use it in rubs or to add texture as once you cook it you still have granular crystals present, which may be displeasing when used on say onions or vegetables, as opposed to the white which dissolves evenly in solution when cooked.

That makes sense to me. The degree seems like it would be important to Ishaq and KVR. DVD, on the other hand, I think goes pro. I'm sure we all agree there.
