I might know a guy and can get this taken care of...but you're going to have to update your avatar with new bewbs.
In all honesty, this whole thing sounds stupid, sorry you got the shaft here PA. I'd do what the others have suggested to see if the judge will throw it out before it hits court. Worst case scenario I can't imagine the penalty/fine for such a thing is very steep. A prosecutor would likely reduce the charge for you to accept a guilty plea, often times you don't even need a lawyer for that.
The last time I went to court (Mid 20s) I had 3 violations: 12 mph over the speed limit, seat belt off (I made the boneheaded mistake of unbuckling it to get my wallet while waiting for the officer to come to the window), and lastly my license had expired the week prior and I completely missed it. I had a good reason why I was speeding, I had accidentally shorted out my digital dash somehow while installing a CD player. I got it fixed and brought the receipt to court. Got the license taken care of, and I figured I'd eat the seatbelt charge or at least try to explain what happened. The Prosecutor met with me before the case went before the judge, no lawyer with me, and he ended up reducing the speeding violation to under 10, so no points on my license. Reduced the expired license to "license not available" which was a lesser charge, and threw out the seat belt violation. Obviously I took the plea deal, paid the fine, and went on my way. Could have been a nasty fine and worse if I had to eat the entire list of charges...especially if I got the points on my license. I think I already had a bunch on it at the time. I was a horrible driver in my early 20s.
At any rate, if the judge won't throw it out, talk with the prosecutor before you see the judge and see if you can work a deal...unless you're paying that lawyer all that cash and plan on fighting it.
