"Sir you are not wearing pants and you just went into a grocery store yelling return to glory"

Well I was going to do one, but yours is basically what I was going to say. Except I'm old enough to drink, but choose not too. And I think we beat Utah.

Best Tailgating beverage... I do not drink alcohol, so Coca-Cola for me. Usually have a cooler by the recliner so I don't have to get up and go into the kitchen. Also, a couple dozen hot wings and a jug to piss in and I am set from opening kick-off til post game show.
Inanimate Object most likely to meet its demise...The hardwood floor if I miss the jug.

Even at 6-6 last year, there was not a single game that ND did not have the talent to play with. With a better game plan, player development and most importantly better conditioning and weight management (training table) I say ND has a chance to go both 12-0 and 7-5.

Reasoning for AGS:
Stanford - Has played ND tough for the last couple of years and has a good coach with a 'should be' great QB.
Boston College - They play ND like it was the last game of football to be played...ever. Great LB and RB.
Pitt - Running game should be solid and the DEs are not going to play like they did against Utah all season.
Utah - Ton of speed on O and that will be tough to defend with a thin secondary.
USC - The PC USC teams no longer exist but they still have a ton of talent. THE rival for both schools and it is in LA.

Overall: 9-3
Wins: Purdue, Tulsa, W. Mich, Army, Navy
Toss ups: Stanford, Pitt, BC, USC, Utah, Michigan, MSU

I optimistically assume we win 4 out of 7 toss-ups because we really should beat Michigan (because Rich Rod has yet to show me he can put a good product on the field) and will likely be favored against MSU.

I hope I'm wrong -9-3. Utah, southern cal, Mich state, Pitt, BC- 3 losses spread over those 5 teams. But if they manage 3-0 They may be BCS Bowling. I cant wait to see this group play.

Mid season bumb

How are your predictions going?

Overall Record:8-4
Wins/Losses per game:
-Wins: UMass, Bowling Green, Indiana, Illinois, Purdue
-Any Given Saturday: UConn, ND, Michigan State, Iowa, Penn State
-Loses: Wisconsin and osu
Offensive MVP: Denard
Defensive MVP: Mike Martin
Bowl Game: We might get into one of those weak New Years Day bowls
Best Tailgating Beer: Whatever is cheap and plentiful
Inanimate object most likely to meet its demise: Whatever my hat strikes

For mine I need to move Illinois into the 'Any Given Saturday' row, they've proven to be a better team than I expected. But I think Penn State is much more doable, their offense isn't doing their D any favors, but other than that I'm not doing too bad.

At the start of the season I probably would have predicted anywhere from 8-4 and 10-2. I think 8-4 is still obtainable if we play tough against Utah and USC. I am thinking now maybe 7-5, and I see us playing in the Champs Bowl.
