@Lucci - Any chance you could start a list in the first post, so we can keep track?

Could it be a 2012 class prospect if the were and EE?
Wouldn't it be an interesting trend if kids started graduating early to do two graduate years instead of one? I mean, with early enrollment, AP credits, summer school and whatnot it isn't unreasonable to see a kid graduate in three and a half years, especially at some of the less academically challenging programs. Then you get a two year master's at a premier program of your choice, plus premier players have two years to step into a favorable depth chart situation.
List of realistic potential options? If so I will and any mod that has a new one feel free to change the post as I may miss it or not be on at that time. And to help me out Wooly because I'm going to have to step away for a second. Will you post below this what I should start with and when I come back I'll put it up.

So does this take away from a 5th year or a '15 recruit.

I guarantee we wouldn't fill up the 85 limit with recruits and our 5 fifth years. I don't think a transfer would be taking anyone's spot.
There are quite a lot of players that could come back, and most of them could contribute to the team. Currently, with our 22 commits, I have 9 guys coming back (Golson, Carlisle, Martin, Hegarty, Ishaq, Grace, Schmidt, Farley and Hardy) and would already put us at 87 scholarship players for next season.
And we're probably still going to add 2-4 more recruits, too.

You want to bet some money on us not having 85 scholarship players by the deadline?
It hasn't happened in as long as I can remember.

I don't see it being a RB. My guess is another nickelback

Are you saying 85 at signing day or the game versus Texas?
Take this name off the list, no way in hell.
-- According to Irish Illustrated's Pete Sampson, senior safety Eilar Hardy is expected to graduate from Notre Dame in May and will transfer elsewhere.
With this recent information, I got to believe it's a safety.
With only Shumate and Redfield as returning safeties, and possibly Farley who was mostly a nickelback this past season, we need another body for sure now. Tranquill I guarantee you, will not be 100% by fall camp. I also doubt Kelly wants to play McKinney, Mykelti Williams or Nicco extensively unless it's due to injuries.
