So outside of the Clemson game last year, this was probably the biggest win since...what 2018 scUM or 2017 USC?
I just rewatched Kiser’s pick six. Man Mertz. ND is basically just soft zone across the board and instead of the dump off to the left of him at the LOS a few feet away, he chooses the guy at the LOS completely across the field. Even if Kiser doesn’t jump it he’s tackling the guy for zero gain.

I posted this in Drew Pyne's thread, but check out his pre-game body language and how he leads the huddle after Coan gets injured.
Rees's play calling is Coan's quarterbacking. It's OK at times but frustrating too often, and you start to wonder if there's a better option out there.
You don't get to learn on the job while the OC at ND making close to 7 figures.
If Wisconsin isn’t careful they are going to get trucked by scUM this Saturday. At least it’s at Camp Randall but Wiscy has as bad as a QB situation as ND does an OL situation.

Man on paper Wiscy is a really bad matchup for the skunkbears,… idk
I think Tommy is doing a pretty damn good job all things considered.
I’ve watched the Tyree KR about 100 times, the Gus Johnson call is incredible. Probably the most exciting play I’ve ever been in the stands for, up there with a couple long Josh Adams TDs in ‘17. I love Kyren, but I’d love to see CT get a shot at PR

I disagree with Tommy being an issue. I think he's done a great job adapting to a nearly insurmountable problems re: the O Line.
Coan isnt the guy for this line, but he's good at not turning it over, which is BKs biggest #1 thing. (Which has led to a lot of success)
I think you saw what happens to an offense that has clear deficiencies and refuses to adapt in Wisconsin's performance on Saturday.

4th quarter vs us might have broken them though. How can anyone on that team have any confidence in Mertz?

I'm not so sure....scUM has played a cupcake schedule so far.
At least Wisconsin has taken some punches from solid football teams, and they'll be ready to go. I'm sure they'll be fired up and desperate to avoid a 1-3 start. Wisconsin has lost to two physical football teams in Penn State and ND...scUM beat a football team that only put up 7 points against MONTANA and the B1G punching back in the Scarlet Knights. Western MI might be the best team they played in September.
Regardless of how bad Mertz has looked, this is a big step up in competition for this 2021 scUM team in terms of physicality, atmosphere, etc. They haven't even left Ann Arbor yet this szn....
Hope you’re right b/c I’d love to see scUM go down and Wisc end up being a decent team. I just don’t see how scUM doesn’t do what ND did and force Mertz to beat them…which he doesn’t appear equipped to do.
