The media hated Lou and felt sorry for the loveable loser Bobby Bowden so despite a head to head win which we dominated except for letting FSU make it close we were screwed out if the national title. That would not fly nowadays.

We broke a good defense and absolutely demolished a shitty offense. No complaints.
I hope Evans is OK. Didn't look like his foot was planted when he got hit so hopefully it's no serious damage.
I hope Hart and Morrison are both back next week too.

It makes zero sense that these children have a way of responding to their coaches reality.

I hate Pitt, but now I hate young men who think they know the reality of their situation,... without any real Life experience... worse.

Hopefully Evans is back this week or this season but at least if not he will have to come back another season. One of the surpruses of the season. Really apart from Mayer the best TE I've seen at ND in years.

The broadcast showed Evans on the bench and he didn’t seem stressed like his season was over. Hopefully that’s the case and he responds well to treatment.

Can’t add much other than again Rico Flores needs to learn to help his quarterback. I felt in the first interception at Louisville and again on one thrown last night he didn’t adjust and prevent the int. I know he’s a freshman, but it’s worth pointing out.

I will say it although it’s been said before, wtf Freeman? Clock management, just another sign of occasional poor coaching. It’s minor this time, but matched with other examples throughout his tenure…..the staff needs to man up and clean up their errors.

To put this into perspective, Skunkbear’s average margin of victory is 34.75 and everybody is slobbering over their “dominance” despite a weak schedule. Also, comes with them knowing the opponent’s plays beforehand so…

I thought the same. It’s amazing how dominant teams can look when they play helpless offenses with terrible qbs.

I felt the same way when we were crushing bad teams at the end of 2021.

Was the clock management gaffe before the half? I need to rewatch. Also, shame on Bertrand for the blindside hit on C’Bo to fuck our field position. I’m really tired of the mental errors like this.

I also want to add, the blitz timing of the LBs has been lights out. Just incredible coaching by Golden and execution by all LBs. Credit NDPhilly for mentioning in the bowels of the gameday thread.

Also noticing the poorly timed safety blitzes are dead and gone. Long live Al Golden.
