Yes. Thank God for TJ Jones. It's like everything Daniels does Jones can do better. A lot better. Frustrating to watch a guy as talented as Daniels to be so sloppy.
But like you said, this is a tough, resilient football team and they showed that tonight. That's really all you can ask for (OK, maybe you can ask for better safeties. But Redfield will have his day eventually.) Huge win. If our defense plays like that against USC, we should still be at two losses going into Stanford.

Defensive line was much much better tonight obviously.
Our safeties are just pathetic.
Tommy was just, well, Tommy. You aren't really going to get anything different from him.
I am ready for Corey and Will to get more routes. Chris Brown has been very disappointing this year and Davaris just loses interest on a lot of plays.

I mean, he was 17/38 which is really bad, and ASU does not have a good defense.

I think Daniels is every bit as talented, physically, as TJ. It just seems like the difference is that TJ and Tommy appear to be on the same page, on routes and throws. If DD and Tommy could develop the same, both of those guys(Jones and Daniels) would be making noise for All-American.

- Tommy was pretty bad. He's really starting to show his limits. The one thing he should be able to do is manage the clock and the offense, but he was the reason for a number of penalties.
Frustrating win>>>Frustrating loss.

* Tommy Rees is 40/96 over the last three games. Good God. Give him credit for some great throws (that last drive of the first half was niiiiice), but he is so damn inconsistent.
* Cam McDaniel played a great game and George Atkinson III continues to run harder. Could've done without his dancing, though. Led to some huge losses.

* TJ Jones had a tremendous game. His best of the season, IMO, and one of the better ones of his career.
* Daniels is inconsistent. He has the talent to be an elite receiver, but he hasn't put it all together yet.
* Hercules had a strong game, probably the best of his career to this point.
* Offensive line did a good job. Lots of pressure, but no sacks. Decent run blocking. I like it.
* Nix had a great game.
* Tuitt had a tremendous second half. Hopefully he builds on this performance.
* Shembo FINALLY did something, and boy was it something. GREAT second half.
* Jaylon Smith is going to be a superstar. He was everywhere tonight.
* Matthias Farley is terrible.
* The secondary as a whole just looks lost at times.
* Losing Grace could hurt.
* GREAT win.

Another couple of things that I noticed........
Corey Robinson is an outstanding athlete who could end up being something very special.
The offensive line started the game pretty shaky. There were a lot of defenders in the backfield, on the first couple of possessions. But they got it right, and did a fine job the rest of the game, with a few rare exceptions. Congrats to them.
I don't understand why it was frustrating.
South Carolina barely beat unranked Kentucky.
Oklahoma had a rough time with unranked TCU.
Oklahoma State just about lost to unranked Kansas State.
It took Georgia overtime to beat unranked Tennessee.
UCLA had big trouble with unranked Utah.
But unranked Notre Dame beating #22 Arizona State (the 6.5 point favorite) is frustrating?
DD gets uninterested because he realizes his deep routes will either be 10 yards over his head or 10 yards short.
