Super chill, five year old rescue,... Good with my girls, super attached to me already and decent so far with my cat.... We are happy... Gonna see if she'll jump in the pool this weekend... ( don't worry won't force her)

What I've already learned,... Dogs sleep much more loudly and,... Violently, I guess is the term,... Than cats,... She's a snorer and breathes hard.

Well my wife and I went to go look at pups last night and we now will be bringing home our new addition to the family on Friday evening after work. A 12 week old Cane Corso male! The Family is leaning towards the name Zeus, although I pushed for Ara, which seemed fitting since our Olde English is named Rockne. I will post some pics over the weekend!

Wife was already up when I got up today, which was strange ( I usually get up much earlier than her on weekdays due to our schedules). I could smell and hear her cooking breakfast and smiled, ' awesome going to have a fresh cooked breakfast on a weekday, rare treat!' Walked into the kitchen, ' making me breakfast?"... Her reply, 'sorry no, just me and the dog'..... She made the dog potatoes and eggs... Wtf?!

My wife does that shit every couple of weeks. Whenever there's only two or three eggs left in the carton, the dog gets a gourmet breakfast. We could have egg sandwiches for breakfast! But for some reason, "Two or Three Eggs in the Carton" translates to "Cook this for the dog and we will eat cereal."

True Story. When I was young I'd go camping with my Grandparents. They were very cheap. If we stopped for fast food we got Hot 'N Now. Then we'd drive down the road to Binger King to get the dog his burger.......

I used to get 6 burgers and 2 small fries for $3 when i was in college. At the start of the month when i got my scholarship money... it was Double Olive Burger time at 99 cents. I actually liked their burgers more than any other franchise joints.

I'm a bitch when it comes to food. And Hot 'N Now doesn't allow for +/- of toppings. I hated it.

My two troublemakers. No, they don't normally wear flamboyant bandanas, they just got done at the groomers.

my brother used to have a pug... little thing used to fartand burp all the damn time :sour:

And Pugs don't sleep with you, you sleep with Pugs, and the snoring is off the charts. They have absolutely no concept of personal space, and must be touching you at all times, even when well trained. Great dogs though.

Wife and I just got this six week old female Redbone on Saturday at Redbone Days. Haven't given her a name yet. The wife wouldn't go for Ara, Rockne or Kelly. Working on Irish, but don't think she's going for it.

I had a German Shepard growing up who's name was Irish. Kind of ironic, but I love that name.

This is random but that is the best Kong toy ever. My dog ripped it up months ago and still plays with the ball underneath. Chewy, squeaky and doesn't get destroyed.

Random too: I gotta get a better separation system of dog and baby toys. One of my dogs pooped a Lego the other day.

So a few weeks back I was watching one of the mexico Copa A matches with my dog sleeping on the floor near me, I boo'd at something, forget the circumstance but it was surely some dive or dirty tackle by one of their players,... and Mack wakes up and "Arrwoo!" kind of mimicking me... I laughed...

we hadn't really heard her bark yet, like really bark,... but went to a park to view the fireworks yesterday and any time one of the big ones went off and there was any slight noise to it at all, we were a good distance off from the show, she'd bark so hard she'd lift herself off the ground... it was cute. She didn't go all ape like you hear with some dogs though, she'd just answer some of the bangs with a bark, otherwise super chill.

A former neighbor had a Golden Retriever he named Gipper.

Run that by the wife and see if it meets with her approval.
