From my understanding the NCAA laid a notice of inquiry in Sept.
UO and the NCAA agree their was/is a problem.
Could this be the NCAA doing what they did to psu?

Oregon always takes a while to get going in recruiting.

The real question is whether or not Oregon will appeal the penalties/how long the appeal will take. By virtue of USC's appeal delaying the sanctions for a full year it made a BIG difference... I'd be very interested to see if Oregon could manage to do something similar and delay the impact and give themselves another run at a title this year.

I kind of like Oregon as well. Mostly because of their jersey's. I always root for them and Stanford to win the Pac12.

The problem is that Stanford is becoming a pretty big recruiting rival...

These are big number and they look real good but are they doing the same thing as Oregon? Are they playing teams that should be in the division below them? I would hold back being surprised until you see how his whole season goes. Then if he is still doing this then I will give him massive props.

All that being said for Oregon, recent COI seems somewhat lenient given most recent rulings for major cases (see UNC, UCF among others).
