The Rutgers comments are too funny....

Some of them are truly the most absurd thing I've ever seen. I think some of them actually think Notre Dame is trying to recruit their player instead of it being a mis-mailed piece of mass recruiting for summer high school camps.

As far as violations go, this would likely be a secondary violation, but maybe not. As I understand it, sending mail to someone is not automatically a violation... for example, Bill Snyder writing a hand written letter to Jace Amaro wishing him a speedy recovery, and many other examples of current coaches contacting current players for other schools.

When you read the mailer he was sent, it's just an invite to Notre Dame summer camps. I don't know if that even counts as a recruiting mailer.

...so ND is about 2 TDs better than a high school team (as of 2013)...thats encouraging...hehehee

They are when you play on Yankee Stadium's POS turf. Honestly made Notre Dame Stadium's spring turf look like Ned Flander's front lawn.

Like someone who suggested we might have sent similar letters to Avery. It's clearly an accident as it is an invitation to junior day.

I'd be shocked if the NCAA did anything other than send out a canned letter that said they looked into it, and nothing to see here...I would not be shocked if ND unilaterally docked itself two scholarships...

That's one way to get to 85. Just invite everyone...literally, every single football player.

You don't really think that the Crossroads project is about academics, do you? Enough housing for every high school football player in America to attend camp in South Bend....

Meh, if this is the worst thing that happens to us this off-season, I'll take it.

A Klunder Blunder!

More likely a Klunder assistant error.
