Probably already posted and not Harry's fault but.

@38Godfrey: Shaq Lawson said ND's OL had a tell on run plays (hand down and foot placement), and they didn't change it until way late in the game

Kid is gonna be a stud. Great pickup by him/the team.

Who knows about that --- maybe one lineman has a bad habit. That wasn't what stopped the ground game though --- five guys cannot block 7 or 8, even with designs which run away from 1 or 2. Clemson stacked it against us and blitzed gaps --- you have to pass against that [or have Luatua healthy and the QB running.]

The proof that our OLine wasn't losing the game for us is that the alleged "tell" didn't help Clemson on our passing plays. The pocket was pretty darn good. The big guys did their part. We just didn't start passing it enough on early downs until the game got late.

49er's mid 80s OL would have lost last night with the way we played the first three quarters. Roger Craig would have looked like CJ Prosise last night.

Kizer was almost Joe Montana yet we decided to run into the freaking gut of their defense, again....on the last and deciding play of the game.

Why??? I don't know. I'd like to hear BK's answer.

Heistand excels at coaching pass protection, nothing new there really. Outside of the Clemson game I like what we've been doing with the run game too, for the most part. We're not always opening big holes, but CJ is still finding yards in most games.

please remember guys, Clemson was bad-traction and crazy LBs shooting the running gaps with us without a blocking TE --- NOT Harry's fault on the run.

Having a healthy Lautua helps immensely. People tend to forget how important a good blocking TE is to the run game.

Yeah, I don't fault Harry for the Clemson game running. We were repeatedly running into the teeth of the defense as they were stacking the box to defend the inside run. Bad play calling imo, and we finally figured it out later in the 3rd quarter when we got CJ out in the flat and hit crossing patterns to exploit Clemson's D.

This one right after BK's bat signal for Daelin Hayes.

If I can ask anything of this staff and future staffs, please keep Harry here. Do whatever it takes because he is the foundation for our offense.

Disappointed by the performance of our offensive line against a group of back ups. There was little push up the middle.

Yeah, not happy with their performance today, against kids who wouldn't normally be starting for tOSU.

Lord people. The team was down the whole game because the defense sucked. Makes dline job a lot easier when all they have to do is rush the passer and ignore the run.

Sometimes I wonder if the people who post on this board have ever played football.

it isn't just this game, for such a stout group of OL we haven't had very many games where we wore down the other team with our line
