Cloudy, windy and wet with rain likely and heavy at times. Highs in the upper 60s-mid 70s. Since Matthew has shifted farther north in its forecast track, weather conditions here in Central North Carolina will deteriorate more than previously thought for today. Expect wind driven rain which will be heavy at times which would likely cause flooding in areas that are prone to it. Winds could easily gust to 35 mph around the Triangle to as high as 50 mph around the Fayetteville area. Expect some trees to come down and power outages as well in some locations.
