What has PJ proven? A scout's analysis doesn't mean anything once you're actually on campus. You either live up to your billing or you don't. If you fail to live up to the hype, then you've fallen into Koyack land. Either he unseats Book, or it turns out Book was the better QB after all...which may not be a good thing at a program level.
I don't know brother. I knew the score on Saturday but only watched the game last night.
God love Ian Book. He was our Savior last year and showed a lot of composure and confidence. IMHO, something bad happened this year and he has taken a few steps back.
In my completely uniformed opinion, PJ and BC need a lot more reps. Before PJ came to ND it seemed that he only played the first half of his high school games before getting pulled... they were up by so much.
I think it would be a great advantage to us giving PJ the ball for the rest of the season. I think that will pay dividends going into the 2020 season. If he cannot handle the pressure then an even rotation of Book and Clark. I think the rest of the season is time to balance and recognize our synergies.
