Can they still be undefeated before Clemson?
- Pitt
- GT
Neither is a gimme with this team.
GT yes Pitt depends on if their starting QB is back or not.

Anyone else listening to Kelly? H e sounds like an idiot. 2 good things about this game. An ugly ugly ugly win and KW. Other than that this was a complete shit show.
Should join the Big Ten. That score line is an Iowa-MSU special.
Yep, same stuff different day. I think Kelly is a good coach, and ND has been fun to watch at times during the last few years. But Kelly won’t be the coach to get us there. I’d argue that with the talent on this team and the last few years were good enough. Just not coached at an elite level.
Don't even know what to say, don't look like the #4 team.
All of that was Gross
Book being interviewed on NBC. He should have owned up to playing like schitt because he did. While I don’t want him to throw ints he doesn’t give his guys a chance and does not have the arm or the balls to make the throws. He plays afraid unless they are behind and even then I’m not sure. I fell bad that our other RBs get no chance at playing today. Tyren definitely better than Tyree but would like to see Jafar in for some pass catching ability and even C bo. Hard to complain too much about a D that gives up 7 and nothing even close after that to a decent O with a better than average (and certainly better than Book) QB and tackling was improved for sure but basically zero pressure on the QB who didn’t even have to run for his life’s once. No holding calls etc. D against the run was almost awesome but allowed some first downs on third down run plays which disappointed. It’s all about Book and this guy who thinks he’s the BMOC as if he is anime Namath ain’t schitt. He has no business being up there with Clausen and Quinn although Rees is up there so I guess those records mean pretty much nothing.
I’m so over Ian Book and the piss poor passing game! Hopefully the next QB is the one but given BK’s track record, I doubt it. FYI, how in the F is Phil at BC and not starting at ND? It’s literally mind blowing![/QUOTE]
Uh huh
Allowing only 7 points to this talented Louisville offense is impressive as much as people want to ignore that.

Where was Lenzy today?
Your takes are awful. First off, there was never going to be a strong passing attack with the wind today. Second, our WRs are not where they need to be. After his first big game last week, McKinley couldn't win in any one on one situations today. Our leading receivers for the season are TEs and Kyren, when in previous seasons it was WRs like Claypool, Finke, Boykin, etc. Obviously Book has hit receivers fine in the past, but coming into this season our WRs all graduated/drafted and no one has consistently stepped up outside the TEs and Kyren. That WR position group needs to grow up and step up.
Book will never have the clout or popularity that Quinn or Clausen had, but he's on track or has surpassed them in wins. He plays better than he gets credit for, this game called for a heavy run attack given the weather, and Book stepped up when we needed him to. His TD run put us up, he sold out for that, and his passing down the stretch was just enough to get us first downs to run out the clock and end the game. 4-5 years ago we don't run out that clock and we end up giving Louisville a shot at winning the game. Get down from the ledge. It wasn't a great game, but Book did what we needed today given the conditions.
