We need to curb stomp them and embarrass them bad. Let them know they can't hang.

Did I just miss spring practice and the usual off-season dramatics?

IMO, I would go to the Mich St. game from the simple fact that the weather is usually pretty good in Sept, usually dry and warm.

October can be Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde when it comes to rain/cold, but the fall foliage would be in peak or close to peak, so keep that in mind too.

Agree. Also, I have a sneaky suspicion MSU may be a night game. Either game should be a great game.

I think I'd prefer the Michigan St game as well. But North Dakota State will be playing Iowa on that date and I'm guessing the old man wants to make a family trip out of that(NDSU playing an FBS team is basically the Super Bowl to people up here).

october in SB is amazing

Looks great on tv.

Really?! That would be a cool game to go to.

ND in October on a crisp DRY fall day is amazing! The smell of the leaves, band in the distance and the college atmosphere is perfect, nothing else like it.

ND on a rainy, damp, cold day can be miserable, even for an exciting game.

Stanford 2012 wasn't miserable :)

This. It doesn't get that cold in SB in October, not typically...but if you're not from the Midwest I guess 50s can be freezing. I'll do a jersey and shorts in October, and not typically more than a light jacket and jeans. Sometimes you can get a game that runs late and it might get a bit chilly, but I can't remember the last time I went to an awful October game. It's the mid/late November games that can be nasty....if you don't have an alcohol blanket. Spring games can be bad too. The 2013 Spring Game was particularly bad with the biting wind, worse than that snowy Syracuse game several years ago.

Stanford 2012 wasn't miserable :)

I love rainy football weather, as long as it stays in the 50s or higher. One of my favorite games was the '08 Michigan game. Raining cats and dogs, waterfalls cascading down the steps of the stadium, and Michigan couldn't hold onto the ball. It was a September game so it was warm, but it was such a fun game.

Can't help but liking Kevin Hogan, but I hope we swarm like woodpeckers all over the trees this year!

I would say fuck the trees, but that would come off a little unseemly, and a tad perverted. The idea is to depredate those pencil neck, wooden motherfuckers!

I'll be there.

Had my choice of home game this year and none stood out like this one. Looking forward to it.

Anyone know what NDAM means?

Never Date A Minor?

An attempt to differentiate NDs – Notre Dame rather than North Dakota?

A feeble effort to disparage ND by approximating "Damn" through use of a homophone?

Sheer ignorance?

Thanks guys. I was reading it as N D A M, saying each letter separately. Definitely a weak attempt at an insult.

They have the best message board name in the country next to tiger droppings IMO. The Cardboard.

It was nice not recognizing a single name of their starting 5 OL. Not saying they won't be good, but I like not recognizing consensus 5-star, top 30 type players on their OL.

Have attended the last couple at ND, but will not be able this year. Should be a payback game for Irish for letting game slip away last year.
