how many f#cking posts of urban "possibly coming to ND" exist in countless threads on IE....starting to feel like im reading a 247 post on facebook w/ dumbass comments from so called ND fans with this thought he would, be welcomed here etc...it's almost that time for someone to start posting plane flights coming into the south bend airport since BK is being mentioned by media as possibly being an NFL candidate

Did you read my original post? My point wasn't to discuss Meyer, but more that he has no idea about ND and Meyer. As Henges24 pointed out, the poster seems to be uninformed.

It was from a USC fan, so the real question is how many other CFB sites talk about Urban coaching at ND?

I think most ND fans understand that neither party is interested but fans of other programs don’t really look beyond the surface which was that Meyer had the ND clause in his Utah contract, he’s a Midwestern guy who has spoke positively about ND & he’s Catholic. Lazy thinking basically.

I originally thought earlier this week that Notre Dame would roll and the outcome would be similar to the 2017 game. But now reading all your guys post and listening to the so called experts I’m worried this will be a close game coming down to the last few possessions.

I don't see it being a 2017-esque blowout, but I don't think it's going to be a game down to the wire.

I think we win by 2+ scores.

If Washington's mediocre offense can manage 28 on them, then we shouldn't have many issues scoring on them.

That video by ISD is epic. They got dudes, no doubt about it. We also got plenty of dudes and I think our dudes like to hit a little bit more than there’s. I roll with that until we see different. Light up USC, haha.

Everybody gives Utah’s DL a bunch of credit for their preseason expectations but in terms of stats they don’t even come close to matching up with ours (in most metrics). USC has not played this DL. Like what we did to Stanford at home last year. We’re going to eventually light up Slovis and bad. We’ll see.

Utah’s major problem on defense against SC was that they decide to play man, press coverage with a single high safety the whole game. Their DC should have been fired for that game plan.

If I remember correctly they kept blowing it in the red zone on offense as well.

We are better in the trenches on both sides. That's where games are won and lost.

Has Shaun ever suited up for a USC game? That's insane if he hasn't.

This, we are going to pound them until they break in the 30 degree weather. I'll give it a quarter. This one gets ugly early I think.

I just wish we had the big play capability from the RB position like we had with Dexter and Adams. I keep replaying the play Adams hit right up the gut for about 75-80 yards two years ago that pretty much sealed that game.

this year....that's 20-30 yard gain

Need some help!

Trying to remember what USC vs ND game where USCs RB tried hurdling the pile and got tackled mid-air for a goal line stuff.

Trying to find a video of this for my dad - thanks!

I think it was either 1992 or 1995. I was at that game and that was awesome. Kinnon Tatum was the man with the big hit.

Edit - just looked it up, it was 95.

Watching those first half highlights I remember thinking that Wimbush had turned the corner and was going to be the QB we had all hoped. Sad that it never worked out that way. He truly was and is an incredible athlete.

If this is the play you're thinking of, the timestamp for the play is 1:54.

That's not the hit.

One of my brothers just sent me an instagram link: Grant Giszewski Fort Wayne ND football videos

Really good stuff.

He has a hype video for the USC game and it shows a super short clip of the goal line collision.

(dont know how to link instagram videos here, also they have no time stamps)

Wait you're saying there is ANOTHER big mid air hit at the goal line vs USC from the early 90s??? Interesting, that's my era, I have all of those game on DVD and have watched them numerous times and nothing else comes to mind....
