Irish5saint is exactly right, Seatgeek is the way. If you have nerves of steel, wait until the morning of the game. There always seems to be a fair amount of seats and they practically give them away.

Yes. If you’re nervous, start watching Seatgeek on Monday 11/4/24. There will most likely be a lot of tickets available. As the days get closer to game day, the prices will start dropping. Yes, the longer you wait the fewer tickets available, but I have never seen a game that had no tickets available. if you feel apprehensive, buy them now.

You can always find someone outside the stadium selling. Given this is a night game in November against a shitty team, you should have no problem finding one cheap.

I went ahead and snagged them. Comes with dinner at the Morris Inn and a gift card for the bookstore.
This is turning out to be pretty good. Spoke to the guy who's handling the tickets and he offered me some more, so we'll be taking our daughter, her hubby and our granddaughters. First ND game for the G-girls. Hope it's not as cold as the last FSU game. Brrr

Didn't see this posted from a few days ago. It's a writer from the Charlotte paper shitting ALLLLLL over FSU after that loss last week and it's hilarious.

Florida State’s mock-worthy season reveals another truth: Be careful what you wish for

Some quotes:

If only Maryland were still in the ACC, so that the Seminoles could lose to the Terrapins, too, and deliver the college football version of the Tortoise and the Hare.

FSU suffered its latest indignity Friday during a 23-16 loss at Duke and, to quote N&O columnist Luke DeCock: “Hahahahahahaha.”

Indeed, that’s always been the subtext of Florida State’s problem with the ACC: That the conference just doesn’t understand the importance of football (as if it’s some sort of regal and noble pursuit that requires higher understanding). That its schools just don’t treat it with as much reverence. That the high and mighty Seminoles just don’t belong in a league alongside such lowly company, especially that which (according to FSU) doesn’t worship at football’s altar.

Anyway, read the whole thing. Had me rolling.

Curious to see how they do at home against UNC. Four losses in a row for FSU and UNC just picked up a win to get them to .500 overall.

I’m anticipating full criminole mode when they come to South Bend. To be that bad and coming to play a November game in South Bend. They won’t even want to play the game.

The extended forecast has the temps in the low 40s/high 30s during the game. I will be there in my standard midwest fat guy uniform of cargo shorts and a hoodie.

I was at the Duke/SMU game this weekend and some people brought in blankets - just looked it up and it was 67 at midnight. Carolina cold!

FSU will act like they are joining Sir Edmund Hillary.

Yup. They huddled around the heaters in the 2018 game while flurries blew around the field. I'm hoping it's fairly cold for them, but no biting wind. I'm thinking about taking my son to this one since the Stanford game fell through.

Take my kids to every senior game. They loved being at that one. The ride home to New Hampshire got adventurous around lake Erie.
Damn that’s quite the drive. I went to the Stanford game a couple weeks ago from the Rochester area, 8 hour drive was enough for me

I was at the 2018 game and FSU quit wanted nothing to do with playing that game. It was in the 20s if I recall.

I may take my son to this game too. Haven't been to a game this season.

That’s not them, though. The team is toilet paper soft. They have no toughness. Their vaunted line is a bunch of quitters. They’ve cashed the checks and results don’t matter.

There’s just no talent on their football team. ND should win easily and have its starters resting in the second half.

Has anyone followed FSU closely this year? I haven’t seen them since the GT and Boston College game in Labor Day.

I’m trying to gauge if I should be worried? I know they have individual talent. Have they quit on Norvell?

They ran faster heading from the field to the heaters than they did in the game.

I remember vividly. It was 27.
