I saw in the news today that a cadets mother was sitting on the balcony of her hotel room and was hit by a stray bullet which killed her.
What time is the presser today?? Sorry I know I ask this often. I'm expecting to hear that Hamilton isn't playing, but hoping for confirmation.

Usually, fat pad inflammation occurs with other knee conditions such as arthritis, patellar tendonitis, and meniscal tears.
Start with simple treatments. These treatments include exercise therapy to reduce the forces on the fat pads, leg stretching to reduce tightness, and taping or bracing the knee. Other effective treatments include shoe modification or orthotics and soft tissue massage. In a small number of cases that fail simple treatments, your doctor may direct a small dose of cortisone into the fat pad to reduce swelling. In cases resistant to cortisone, we consider PRP for fat pad impingement. Surgery such as fat pad removal should be avoided and only used as an absolute last resort. Keyhole surgery is unpredictable and some cases do worse after Hoffa’s fat pad surgery.
Not being able to play changes your perspective. We had a conversation about what the expectations are when you're not playing You are a captain. You've got to be able to leave something at the end of the day. If you're not practicing, you've got to leave something on the field. For him, leave some knowledge. I think he's done a really good job of understanding that. It's different than when you're playing and practicing, where you leave a lot of your conditioning element and learning the game plan. This is a different role for him and I think he's adapted really well.
“It’s kind of bittersweet but I know that Kyle will be there for us,” safety DJ Brown said.
Your AD coming in after 2 games and firing an Offensive Co-ordinator whose been there 14 yrs. Then the HC negotiates his reinstatement as QB coach. What a total mess. Have to check their schedule to see if they play UConn, they're the only FBS team the middies could beat.
They had 64 yards total offense vs Air Force. I cannot understand how Ken N could be left without a QB who can run their offense.

anyone else worried about navy's run game. NDs defense hasn't been playing well against the run the last few weeks and again NDs defense seems to have a tackling problem. NDs offense has seemed to turn the corner thanks to the OL improvement so im hoping ND can jump on navy early and put this game away like they did in 2019.
Not me, I’m glad we have the record we have but I do not feel we are worthy of either….if we do make it well unfortunately we will see the gap in talent like we have the previous times. We never get a favorable match up in the ny6So let me get this right....many on this board are hoping for a NY6 bowl (or CFP) which will be against a pretty good team...and we need to step up our game or we could lose to a 2-6 Navy team. Got it.
One thing about Navy they will be assignment correct. If we miss assignments it will be a long day. I curious to see how Freeman deals with the option. I don’t understand the difference between Lea and Freeman well enough to know which style should work better.
Kelly is 8-2 against Navy. The only two losses came in his first year against Diaco's ultra rigid 3-4 and in 2016 after BvG had already been fired and Greg Hudson took over that flaming pile of a defense.
Conventional wisdom is that Navy does best against a "read and react" 3-4, and does worst against an aggressive 4-3 that shoots gaps and doesn't give them time to make the reads they need to. Elko and Lea ran a relatively reactive "bend don't break" 4-2-5 that handled the Midshipmen pretty comfortably the last three times we played. Freeman's defense is more aggressive and "multiple", which should in theory be an advantage against Navy.
If this game is uncomfortably close, it's more likely to be due to injuries and fatigue catching up with us than scheme.
i've always have been a fan of attacking the option before it starts and shoot the gaps.Conventional wisdom is that Navy does best against a "read and react" 3-4, and does worst against an aggressive 4-3 that shoots gaps and doesn't give them time to make the reads they need to. so if ND wins the coin toss should ND take the ball or kickoff and receive the 2nd half kick? if ND takes the ball to start the game then you risk navy having the ball to end the 1st half and then to start the 2nd half, it would give navy a chance to double dip. but if you win the toss and elect to receive the 2nd half kick and go into halftime with the lead then get the ball and extend that lead. im sure if ND wins the coin toss BK will elect to take the ball my only worry is ND then going 3 and out and blowing a possession.
Keenan Reynolds or Malcom Perry aren't on this team. We will be fine
Alexander Teich?
