He did. Yes. He did.Dabo apparently lost his shit on a caller on his radio show this evening. Hate to see it.

Agreed. The atmosphere will be far less hostile and loud. Dabo is in desperate mode, clearly by the phone call interaction that is a national story. I only see us losing if our offense stalls which has occurred some this year. Other receivers really need to step up. Where has Greathouse been since the beginning of the season? Suppose it's the hammy but jut odd he's kind of disappeared.I’m much more worried if this is a night game. It’s noon and the Clemson fan base is checked out.
No he’s not. And he’s not “soft”Dabo having a mental breakdown… will be interesting to see how they respond and is ND ready to put it to them
His statement about acceptance versus expectation was funny. He rattled off all his accomplishments you speak of and then gets mad at fans expecting to win versus accepting off years. I can’t imagine Day or Saban or Smart telling their fans and donors to go back to the kids table and accept how good they have had it ( meaning look at what I did for you. Stfu and get off my back)No he’s not. And he’s not “soft”
either.
Maybe you should read or listen to the ENTIRE exchange.
Dabo was 100% right.
Dabo laid down facts, like Clemson is one of only three teams in 150 years to win 10 games for 12 straight years.
And Clemson won 1 title in 35 years then 2 in 7 years under him.
And he was the lowest paid coach who worked his way up to his paycheck.
I love how cowards think it’s cool to call someone out, but when the that person calls their bluff & returns fire, they are “soft.”
Your logic:
Idiot loser makes idiot call.
Cool.
Successful, rich, winner, sets him straight. Soft.
Dabo didn’t go looking for that loser, that loser called him.
Dabo just put him back at the kiddie table were losers belong.

Question is valid if you take away the salary part. I'm a firm believer you are paid what you deserve. Don't care about the salary, care about the results of ND coaches. When I read that, my first thought was, "Is that Putup asking the question to Dabo"?
I'm concerned about this game. Their D has talent. Noon kickoff (probably neutralizes their fans, but we also might be sleepy).
I'd be in the team's ear all week that this is their change to do to us what we did to them last year. We need to be ready. I fully expect a battle.
There's a stat floating around in one of the threads that he isn't playing the slot anymore and that Sam throws most of his passes there.Agreed. The atmosphere will be far less hostile and loud. a win for them would be equally, if not more cathartic as ND's win over USC. It makes them quite dangerous IMO. ND gotta get on them early and keep the foot down on the pedalCouple of things concern me about this game:
Dabo is angry. He tends to do well when he is angry.
Revenge factor from last year's game. Clemson is 7-7 since ND took it to them. They are going to want redemption.
They do still have a very good defense.
On the other hand:
Klubnik has been a bit of a mess
No Shipley (most likely)
Their WR group may be worse than ND's group
If we can score early on them and take the lead that crowd is gonna get ugly. I think Clemson quits if they get down by 10+.
The best unit on the field, by far, will be the ND defense. Defense travels well.
Clemson rolls up a decent number of yards on offense but it's been undone by poor red zone play and turnovers. If they have good luck/execution on those fronts they are a dangerous team.Couple of things concern me about this game:

I think after the UL loss, fans were worried about the rest of the season. Then ND spanked their rival who came to town undefeated w/ a Heisman winning QB who pantsed ND’s defense last year in LA. After SC continued to struggle post-beat down & Duke losing to UL & FSU, fans realized the Irish likely won’t have any ranked wins by season’s end. Fast forward to a wounded Clemson team who is being told their coach & program are now horrible despite having talent, ND fans (well at least me) are not expecting the Tigers to lay down and let the Irish have their way with them. Anything less than 10-2 is a disappointment & while I believe ND is the better team on paper than the 3 remaining opponents, shit happens in CFB that can turn a game on its head. Just look at the UL game or Clemson’s season.I feel like every game is a “test” for Marcus at this point.
Last week’s test was “Beat down a rival convincingly who is down bad at home.” This week’s test is “Beat down a recent power who is down bad on the road.” The staff and players need to smell blood, here.
I’m always team #JustWinBaby…but man this feels like one we should win by a couple scores.
Correct, we've had 2 blunders that cost us 2 games almost 3. Can't have more. This team is far too good to go 9-3, with possibly the best defense at ND since the early 90s.I think after the UL loss, fans were worried about the rest of the season.
