Need to bring our A game. USC is 25 points away from being undefeated.
Thats one way to look at it. Another is they have lost to Minnesota, a bad Michigan team, Maryland, and a 6-5 washington team. They have 4 losses to teams with at least 5 losses on the season and one of them is 4-7 maryland.

And Penn State ain’t shit. I’m usually super nervous against USC but our revamped OLine will push them around and I see 300 yards rushing for us. The USC QB will be sacked 5X and throw 3 ints. Sounds like last years game!

All those losses on the road. They are better at home. You have to factor that in.

Fair point, though they are also about 35 points from being 2-9. I feel like they fall somewhere between Virginia and Louisville in terms of competitiveness — just depends on QB play. I don’t see this as the game where ND shows up unprepared. USC will have to play their best game of the season to beat us.

Glad this is a day game they will barely have any fans we may have more
Attendance was only a little over 57,000 for the UCLA-U$C cross-town rivalry game last Saturday. LA Coliseum holds 77,500. So, yeah, being it is Thanksgiving weekend (a lot of students @ home) and their team is a lackluster 6-5 team ... I doubt that they'll have more fans than the well-traveled Irish fan base!

I never know what to feel whenever ND plays USC. In South Bend... I'm fairly more confident.

ND has several advantages in this game. But USC still has speed and athleticism both offensively and defensively.

An un-prepared ND team wins by a touchdown or so. If they handle their shit, it's an easy win. -21 ND is my spread.
Yeah, this is where I'm at; FPI for some reason still loves USC. They played a brutal football schedule this year, but this team seems to have quit. That doesn't mean they're going to quit when they play ND. Freeman has had this group locked in, and I suspect this will purely be a business trip to LA.

Considering USC is 18th in FPI, hopefully that means we get some credit when we stomp them.

Yeah. I really don't know how anyone can argue, in good faith, that SC is a good team. Dangerous? Potentially. But good? Hell no lol

I'd be pretty suprised if USC puts up more than 20 points. It would take a few turnovers for ND to not put up 20+ points. That line is suspicious though.
It was against Army. And UVA (then ND decided to shit themselves in the redzone in the 2nd half and UVA decided to be mega try hards) and Navy, etc.

Vegas hasn't had a pulse on ND all season. -14.5 at -105 was an utter joke this past Saturday. I hammered the cover and the Over (44.5) which ND hit themselves :ROFLMAO:

I'm not at all concerned about USC in this game, especially after watching them vs UCLA. The new QB is just not great at managing the pocket and their WR corps isn't as good as we normally fear. Their RB is a stud but they were struggling mightily vs the Bruins. I get gut feelings in CFB wrong frequently enough for me not to bet the mortgage on ND -6.5 but I've still put down a good sum.

Spare me the better at home bullshit. Wins over Utah State, Rutgers, Wisconsin, and Nebraska. Yay, they lost close to PSU. Good job.
They were able to take advantage of teams flying two and three time zones away who are not used to that travel.

Go Irish, Fuck SC, see everyone in sec 102 on Dec 20/21st.

It was always gonna be USC. That’s the history of this rivalry and what makes it so good. Don’t give them the chance to “spoil” anything. Leave no doubt.

I know I’ve said it here before but you guys really truly are sickos to actually bet on ND games.

I’m on the verge of vomiting for four hours anyway, couldn’t even imagine sweating a bet as well
I am very bad at betting and I always place money on the opposition. I take it as a tax. The only game I did not do that this year and actually bet on ND was NIU.

That leads me to believe no cross again this week

I think he will play. He jogged out on senior day with no limp. I think he was sat out due to the type of blocking schemes from the army o line. This way he didn’t get rolled up on or a low block.
