So that will actually be a score of 27-10
I suspect holding ND's static 15 pt differential for a 18-3 win is more probable.

Hahaha! I've been telling my wife that I am SO NERVOUS! She couldn't figure out why. I told her that if ND comes out flat, it will be my fault, like at home. I have the same food fixed for every game & wear the same clothes and under NO circumstance, NONE, will I leave the room if ND is doing well. Whew, that's tough when they are on a roll & I have to ****. I have asked my wife to take our daughter to the back & pissed in a Gatorade bottle to keep from leaving the room. Nasty, but it worked during the Pitt game! Had to go BAAAD during the second OT! HAHAHAHA! Wife said I was superstitious, I say I just don't take chances! No worries, I will NOT bring a Gatorade bottle to the game! Lol! I hope they play well because I am already planning on going back next year, & the next, & the next, and so on. This is going to be the longest 104 hours of my life! We are leaving Thursday evening and it seems like today has been 48 hours long already! Are any of you guys going to be at the game Saturday? I would like to introduce my family to y'all and put a face to my cyber image of you. If any of you are going & want to meet up before the game, PM ME & I will give you my cell number so we can finalize. Thanks for all of the advise you guys have given me for this Dream trip! I literally never thought I would be making a trip to an actual game! I am going up this summer to take my QB to summer camp. He transferred in earlier this semester and he camped there last year. I asked if they were going back & Dad said YES. They are fans as well. Son is a ninth grader and plans on going to ND. Walking on if he isnt offered he says. Fingers crossed that his ability catches his size & we have a profile on here of him in two years!

Our recent play and last year's 24-17 score make me uneasy about this one. Then again, I am uneasy about every game.

Werent the players still sick last week? From what I remember yes. I believe we come out very strong defensively focusing on fundamentals. Likewise on offense, I believe we will have a very simple offense based on no turnovers a strong running game and efficient passes. We will not want to show USC anything and we are trying to grow confidence. It should be a win (knock on wood) but it will not be a blow out.

A few perhaps interesting facts about our next opponent:
1]. they pass and run about equally, but their passing produces twice as many yards;
2]. they are 88th in the country passing, and 114th in the country running;
3]. they are VERY dependent upon their QB, Tanner Price, having an above-average game; when he's average or less, they hardly score at all; Price's completion % is 55%;
4]. they have a good receiver, Campanaro, who, however, made his season with a 16 or 18 catch day vs. BC;
none of their runners looks like a long play threat, but they have a very good punt returner;
5]. their kicking game is fairly good, especially punting and kickoffs. Field goals may be better now that they've replaced the original starter;
6]. North Carolina State's man-coverage schemes admittedly baffled Tanner Price for most of the NC State game, as he had been seeing almost entirely zones;
7]. the WF defense is small but fairly fast and aggressive. They, however, must be lumbered by bad offensive play, as they are only 72nd in the country in preventing scoring. Still, they have an unsung and very undersized athlete named Nikita Whitlock who plays nose tackle and is pretty disruptive in there, although others then get the tackles. Running right at this defense is a little harder than one might think, due to Whitlock.

Ha, one of these Saturdays i'll be able to chill out w/o pacing around the house. Wake Forest seems like a fine game for this, provided we don't come out in green uniforms.
