It didn't quite work out the way you're implying it did, but I see where you're going. If I'm not mistaken, didn't it take two flip-flop-flips and a dozen McD's coffees in the middle of the night to land these kids?

and coifed hair...

"The crowd was absolutely crazy," "It was the loudest place I've ever been in and the crowd is into the game from start to finish. I've been to some other crazy loud stadiums but nothing compares to Eugene."

I can't speak for the other 80-some thousand but it's my goal to make sure this is 100% false after Saturday night.

I think you'll be wrong. The section my family will be in, for one, won't be sitting silently. And I am guessing it will be an atmosphere more similar to the game in 05, which was loud.

been to so many ND games and never once was i like damn its loud in here. Go to Madison or any other place in the country cant even hear the person standing next to you sometimes. Its quiet maybe for this game it might be a little bit louder. Its really a joke how quiet 80 thousand people can be.

My father said the '05 Bush Push game was louder than any pro or college game he had ever been to. It'd be nice if we were both ranked for this game, but I still expect it to be very loud and very hostile if the game is close.

Lmao, I should play my persona a bit better. I'll work on it. Seriously one of the greatest scenes in a movie btw.

I know I've got the brain of a fat 13 yr old because every time I watch that scene I think to myself, "Kahuna Burger? Sounds freaking delicious!"

The stars aligning?

I don't want to jump the gun.

But, it worked last year with Lynch, Tuitt, and Williams

This is exactly what I was thinking when I saw his tweet. Sure, it took a lot of extra work to get these guys in the end, but all three of them at one point or another have mentioned that it all clicked at the AAA game. It was like a defensive front dream team. Shaq, Bryce, Deontay, Tee, etc could be this year's skill player dream team. Getting them all on campus at the same time for a game like this will undoubtedly get them thinking about what it'd be like if they all played together at ND.

I feel the same way. This USC game has Huge implications on recruiting and the atmosphere of the rivalry, playing at night and having many of our top recruit commits in attendance can only get some of these kids thinking along similiar lines of last years AAA game. I don't think it's too far of a reach to think that some of these recruits will be impressed and perhaps buy into what ND has to offer. I think many players see and understand that ND is headed into the right direction. I would not be surprised to see a commitment or two over the weekend and perhaps a couple more shortly afterwards If we win.

Top 2 are Cal & Oregon.

If ND doesn't break into that Top 2 I say ND sends him the bill...;)
