What's crazy is that we are the only team that has made Miami look like that this year. They played tight games against a bunch of crappy teams. They played motivated and fast and basically knew everything we were going to do on both sides of the ball.

We will beat Navy but if the team we saw tonight shows up against the new and improved Stanford we'll lose by 4 TDs.

It’s as if the referees were wearing orange and green the whole first half and we looked like we knew the situation after the first 2 offensive series. That's a good point. Our defense played better after the mid second quarter, but they really never made a big play. No turnovers, few TFLs, no sacks that I can remember. We got some pressure but it was all from blitzing. The quietest game from our front seven all season.

The trashy fans and chain thing are annoying, but not as annoying as just not showing up for a huge game like this. How can you crush USC (I know they arent that great) by 35 and then play scared tonight. From my very weak perspective, it looks like lack of coaching, poor play-calling, and the other team just wanting it more. Oh well, I'm way past the time of investing too much into ND football. Had some great and surprising wins this season, life goes on.

We just destroyed #11 USC a few weeks ago. They're about to win their conference.

#1 Clemson on the road... comes down to 2 point conversion. #1 FSU we beat before getting robbed by refs. It's rare that the team doesn't show up in big games... Bama and this game are the rareities.

Lax, agree with Clemson. Did forget about that rain game. I was talking about the FSU bowl game in Lynch and Tuitts first year. When we changed our defense being really aggressive and lost in the second half.
